Hello Hive gaming community! Today I give an update on my Dungeon Cities game. I have been playing it for more than three weeks and it's the number two game I play most in Hive. Dungeon Cities is a game that's similar in style to classic dungeon crawler games like Diablo. The difference is this game doesn't have much graphics and more text based. I wrote a beginners tutorial two weeks ago and today I expand more on my adventures in the City of Aldoria. This is mostly a guide about monsters and where to find them.

The Guild Hall

One of the daily task to play this game is doing the quests. These can be accessed in the Guild Hall. Each quest rewards the players with experience points to level up the hero and 50% chance to earn drubble. This is a play2earn game and drubbles can be withdrawn (500 drubbles per day limit) and exchanged for Hive. In the example above, killing 5 Goblin - Elite rewards players with 19 drubble and 18 XP. The monsters can be found in the dungeon but in my experience they are more likely to spawn in certain floors.

Tip: Monsters mostly spawn one or two floor below where they are boss

When I'm hunting for Skeletons who is the boss of Floor 1, I go to Floor 2 or 3 where they spawn. This way, I save stamina which we spend every time we move in certain directions, fight or flee from monsters.

Boss Locations

I'm on the 19th floor in Aldoria before I got stopped. The boss was too tough and none of my attacks were going through. I had to flee and buy weapons from the market. These are the bosses in every floor in Aldoria. Use it as a guide when hunting for them.

I haven't beaten the 19th floor Orc boss yet so I'm not sure of the 20th floor boss. I've seen the Hobgoblin included in the quests so I assume it's the 20th floor boss.

Monster Dex

Monster stats can be found in the Monster Dex in the upper left hand tab. An Orc has a defense of 38-57 and the one I encountered had 48. My attack was only 42 so I wasn't doing any damage. I had to tuck my tail and run back to the city. I went to the market and bought myself a morning star with 89 attack for 225 drubble.

My damage points have increased to 124 but I don't have stamina left so I'll hunt it again tomorrow. I hope I can finish the 20th floor and travel to the next city.
