I'm glad I spotted this. Sometimes I get too busy to keep up with Hive, and this video got lost in that shuffle back then. But watching it today I gained insight into your applied strategies that I find highly desirable in your circumstances of availing you benefit. You are widely diversifying your pools of capital across a variety of structures, and this provides functional security. If you build a treehouse in the forest your entire net worth is dependent on that one tree, but if you build a network that ranges from the forest, to a swamp, to craggy stones of a mountaintop, to a grassy vale, then your network has resilient potential that any single catastrophe would be hard pressed to disable all at once, and that is how I see what you are doing. Catastrophes happen. Best to have a shovel when they do, so you can clear your space they clutter.

My experience is radically different from your own, and this, I see from your discussion here, avails you an advantage over me, by virtue of your greater immersion in civil society. Urban structures are almost alien to me, and diversifying my investments of real capital - not money - in such environment isn't as simply obvious to me as it is you, with your lifelong familiarity with society in urban environments.

Being constrained into an urban environment would even cause me despair, while you have an easy way in them. In this we are diametrically opposed opposites, because I can shelter under a tree and get cozy, while you can shelter in the urban concrete, finding comfort where I would only find unyeilding stone. Yet I think in our approach to human society we arrive at similar means, while we approach from different vectors entirely. I find this fascinating and educational, providing glimpses of understanding I am unfamiliar with that are a shortcoming for me. Glad I saw this, albeit long overdue.
