Imanes en la nevera // Magnets on the fridge

Hola querido hiver.

¡Por fin puedo aportar mi colección para el tema del mes de la comunidad Hive Collectors! Cuando he buscado el borrador de la última colección que compartí he visto que han pasado ¡dos meses! sin publicar aquí... espero que la administración me perdone... pero es que el tiempo vuela cuando estás concentrado en el día a día y no miras mucho más allá. Te dejo a ti que decidas si eso es positivo o no tanto.

En casa de mis padres nunca pude colocar imanes en la puerta de la nevera porque estaba forrada con una fina lámina de madera a juego con el mobiliario de la cocina. Yo tenía un pequeño trauma con eso porque en todas las series familiares que veía en la televisión aparecían puertas de neveras repletas de imanes, ya fueran de adorno o sujetando fotografías, notas y hasta pósters de famosos. Y no podía hacer lo mismo.

Por tanto, en cuanto fui la flamante propietaria de mi frigorífico pensé en llenarlo de esos pequeños objetos magnéticos. No son muchos, pues suelo olvidarme de comprarlos cuando estoy en medio de los viajes. Aquí te los presento a todos:

Comenzamos por los imanes que proceden de otros lugares de España. Los dos de abajo, de Gandía y Coma-Ruga, los adquirimos en viajes de vacaciones. El de arriba con forma de barco me lo trajeron mis cuñados de Sant Carles de la Ràpita.

También compré yo el de Vinaroz, mientras que los otros dos han sido regalados. Ahora que caigo, todos son de lugares de playa menos el de Soria, jeje. Ciudad, por cierto, que tengo pendiente de visitar a pesar de estar cerca de donde vivo.

En la sección internacional encontramos Venecia, Londres y Polonia como regalos ajenos, y Andorra como el único país en el que he dormido que no es el mío de origen. Aparte de eso, solo he estado en Francia durante horas y apenas unos kilómetros más allá de su frontera con España.

Para los que sentimos a nuestras mascotas como un miembro más de la familia se nos hace difícil no tenerles presentes también en nuestras colecciones.

Hace muchos años que no pedimos pizzas a domicilio, pero estos simpáticos imanes continúan adornando nuestra nevera. Ni siquiera quedan tiendas de esta marca en mi ciudad, casi todas se transformaron en Domino's.

También sobreviven al paso del tiempo un par de imanes que podríamos considerar prácticos. El de la izquierda es del servicio público de salud y el de la derecha de la empresa suministradora de electricidad. Aunque sé que si me hiciera falta llamarles, en ninguno de los casos acudiría a la puerta de la nevera y sí a "San Google", jaja.

Los últimos cuatro forman la sección cajón desastre. Los de abajo no necesitan explicación, son propaganda sin más. El cochecito nos salió como regalo en un Roscón de Reyes, postre típico con el que terminamos las fiestas navideñas. El del hombre tendiendo la ropa de la colada nos lo envió el ayuntamiento de la ciudad como campaña de fomento del reparto de las tareas del hogar. Mejor me reservo mi opinión sobre su utilidad y resultado reales.

Te muestro más de cerca mis tres imanes favoritos entre todos los que te he mostrado. El primero sería el de Andorra, porque me encanta la montaña como lugar de destino para el verano. Este pequeño principado está en medio de los Pirineos, cadena montañosa que separa Francia de España. Si no hay contratiempos, pronto podré volver allí y eso ya sabes lo que significa después. (Guiño, guiño)

El segundo sería Venecia como representante del país al que me gustaría viajar al menos por una vez en mi vida. Sin embargo, si tuviera que elegir solamente una de sus ciudades me quedaría con Florencia por todo ese arte que seguro me causaría su famoso síndrome.

Cierro este post con el que me parece más bonito en cuanto a su manufactura, el barco de Sant Carles de la Ràpita. Es una pequeña obra de arte convertida en imán, ¿no te parece?

Hi, dear hiver.

I can finally contribute my collection to the topic of the month of the Hive Collectors community! When I looked for the draft of the last collection I shared I saw that it's been two months! without posting here... I hope the administration will forgive me... but time flies when you're focused on the day-to-day and don't look much further ahead. I'll leave it to you to decide if that's a good thing or not so good.

At my parents' house I could never put magnets on the fridge door because it was lined with a thin sheet of wood to match the kitchen furniture. I was a little traumatized by this because all the family TV series I watched featured fridge doors full of magnets, whether they were for decoration or holding photographs, notes and even posters of celebrities. And I couldn't do the same.

So, as soon as I became the new owner of my fridge, I thought I'd fill it with these little magnetic objects. There aren't many of them, as I tend to forget to buy them when I'm in the middle of my travels. Here they all are:

Let's start with the magnets that come from other parts of Spain. The two below, from Gandía and Coma-Ruga, were acquired on holiday trips. The top one in the shape of a boat was brought to me by my brothers-in-law from Sant Carles de la Ràpita.

I also bought the one from Vinaroz, while the other two were gifts. Now that I realise, all of them are from beach places except the one from Soria, hehe. I have yet to visit this city, even though it's close to where I live.

We haven't ordered pizza delivery for many years, but these cute magnets still adorn our fridge. There aren't even any shops of this brand left in my city, almost all of them have been transformed into Domino's.

A couple of magnets that could be considered practical also survive the passage of time. The one on the left is from the public health service and the one on the right is from the electricity company. Although I know that if I needed to call them, in neither case would I go to the fridge door and I would go to "Saint Google", haha.

The last four make up the disaster drawer section. The ones below don't need any explanation, they are just propaganda. The pram came out as a gift in a Roscón de Reyes, a typical dessert with which we end the Christmas holidays. The one of the man doing the laundry was sent to us by the city council as a campaign to promote the sharing of household chores. I'd better reserve judgement on its actual usefulness and outcome.

Let me show you more closely my three favourite magnets among all the ones I have shown you. The first one would be the one from Andorra, because I love the mountains as a summer destination. This small principality is in the middle of the Pyrenees, the mountain range that separates France from Spain. If there are no setbacks, I will soon be able to go back there and you know what that means afterwards (wink, wink).

The second would be Venice as a representative of the country I would like to travel to at least once in my life. However, if I had to choose only one of its cities, I would choose Florence for all that art that its famous syndrome would surely cause me.

I close this post with the one that I think is the most beautiful in terms of its manufacture, the boat of Sant Carles de la Ràpita. It's a small work of art turned into a magnet, don't you think?
