RE: An Unlikely Kind of Love || Malomo High Series #1

I often find that, even though I love the trope (and friends to lovers is one of my favorites), if I don't connect with the protagonists, the story falls flat for me. From what you're saying about Tomi, I totally understand. The thing about cheating on her boyfriend and not having it bother her conscience one bit... ugh, awful. No matter how much of an idiot the boyfriend is, that takes a ton of points off the character and makes the romance feel, as you say, a bit "tacky" or cheap. It would have really driven me crazy too, to be honest. How frustrating when a character's bad decision ruins the experience. Thanks for the honest review!
