Sloths Mining War! MEGA NEW Round Starts Wednesday 8am UTC!

The weeks just seem to buzz on by lately! So much buzz around #Slothbuzz! Between their new Hive Game Sloths Mining War and the continued developments of their main Hive website Slothbuzz.com!

There's so much buzz, I sometimes forget to hang out long enough to create a blog post these days! At least the SlothBuzz Radio has some smooth vibes to keep your day buzzing along nicely!

I'm enjoying being able to write posts on Slothbuzz.com now; things are a lot smoother than we could have imagined when we launched our Hive outpost Sloth.Buzz, the outpost is still up, so you can view your Slothbuzz earnings on posts! It's a handy space for our curators accounts to keep up with all the #slothbuzz content if nothing else!

Personally, 90% of my time is now spent on Slothbuzz.com so I can keep an eye on my Sloth pet! Every action has a positive impact on his health and well-being, and we all know that's important in this day and age!

Check him out, just dancing around whilst I craft this post! It's so cool having a little sloth companion to help me keep my buzz on Hive! The best thing is, it's free! You don't lose anything if you miss a day; he's not going to abandon you if you sloths for a week! He'll just buzz back to life and keep you company whilst you buzz your way around Hive!

Sloths Mining War!

What a ride it's been so far! It seems most players have become addicted already, even in the short time we've been testing! The biggest complaint we've had is it takes too much time, yet people can't seem to step away! More upgrades to be done, PvP to win! Oh, shoot, did I miss the honey burn pot timer already? Well, we'll get the next one!

The team are working hard to make it perfect! Trying to balance the 'time' required in-game with the power players can get by spending some Hive. We're also monitoring for bots/scripts and 'cheats'. Is using a bot cheating? Well, we currently haven't outright 'banned' it but does it suck the fun out of the 'game'? Of course it does! We'll monitor the situation, and if it turns into a bot battle, we'll completely change things to ruin their botty experiences.

We don't want to have to put lots of measures in place that will negatively affect users, but if we can't have a 'fun fair game' because people become too greedy, then everyone loses out. So, let's play nice, well, as nice as possible in a 'mining WAR'!

Remember, there's more than one way to get some Hive out of the Sloth!

Yes, the 'leaderboard' is the main draw, the claim to fame! Everyone wants to be number 1!

But there is also the 'Burn-em honey' pot, which allows you to stake some of your honey for a share of the staking rewards.

Or the Boss battle, allowing you to spend honeycombs in exchange for some of his payout split between all damage done!

And, not to be overlooked, the 'boosters'! Those Hot potatoes are one of the best ways to earn a quick profit, if you can time it right, of course! No one wants to be stuck with burnt fingers because they overpaid at the wrong time!

Don't forget the Torpor system in-game! 8 Hours of blissful rest whilst your sloths fend off attacks! Simply spend 1 Slothbuzz token in-game to get a Torpor, then break the seal for security! You can earn slothbuzz tokens simply by using Hive and blogging with the #slothbuzz tag so you can earn a 'free' daily shield!

One final note! This 24 hour round is followed by a RESET, all sloths/honeycombs/bees and honey will be reset, all users will enter Wednesdays new round on a level playing field (Almost, users who burn their sloths get 1.25x value in 'leaves', the ingame currency to activate the 10% booster and skip perk production cooldowns! So don't forget to burn you sloths this round!)
