The Slothbuzz journey so far!

Good afternoon buzzers! The sun is shining, and the Sloth is buzzing! I thought it was well beyond when we had another 'official what is slothbuzz' update post. If nothing else, I, or you, can link back to it when telling people about Sloth.Buzz! After all, the slothbuzz community is nothing without you, the buzzing sloths of Hive!

You know what? I've just looked through some of our previous posts, so I think I will make this more of a storytime post and then make another post with all the relevant 'what is slothbuzz now' information. Plus, this is Hive; content is king or queen, or sloth!

Look how we started, our first Hive post, as Hive newbies, touching our sloth toes into the water 'sloth-buzz'

We had just started the community and got the token set up. Launching our outpost via Hive-engine and starting the buzz! We hadn't even finalised a logo! We much prefer our sloth these days! Who knows, we might even improve it again in future!

After a few slothly steps in the wrong direction, we got really buzzing. I found our '2-month update', which contains all the links/dates, so here's the link to that more buzz than sloth?.

TLDR? Typical sloth tactics. Basically, we launched with a real buzz! Hitting primary targets and setting more. We were even a Hive WITNESS within the first 2 months! Crazy!

A year later, our 'what is slothbuzz' looked like 'this.' As you can see, we were buzzing in all the right places. The token flowed, the community grew slothly, and our witness node was stable. Things were looking good.

We tried a few ways to get the community buzzing even more, from supporting streamers to holding giveaways and events, including poker, meme contests, writing challenges and Zealy campaigns. We were trying to support Hivians and wanted to open up more users to Hive. That is a challenge in itself.

Then the slothbuzz development slothed. The main sloth took a bit of a hiatus chasing real life. Things continue to sloth along for a few months with a bit of a cloud hanging over everything. Then our leading developer also had to prioritise his work-life balance. At SlothBuzz, everyone contributes their time and effort without financial rewards. All of this is aimed at creating a wonderful community for everyone. Together, we can achieve success! But as with anything crypto. We all have highs and lows.

It was time for the bulls to return, well, the buzz to reignite those slothly dreams!

We'd been slothing hard! We moved back to the 'basic outpost', and reshifted focus towards community again. We got back into the swing of things, launching 'slothbuzz power up day' refocussing on community growth instead of development of 'new' frontends for Hive. We began pushing forward with our bot integrations supporting community and curation on Hive. Welcoming a new dev with new knowledge gives us a foot up towards a successful bot and more community support.

All this brings us to our '2 years on Hive' post asking for your feedback about where we go next. Since then, we've continued to buzz and onboarded more sloth buzzers! With a focus on the community and not trying to do more than we can, we've gained more widespread use of the community tag and tipbot! One slothly step at a time is the only way we can really buzz on Hive.

We're looking as 'stable' now as ever. The Slothburn account is no longer posting daily to try to burn tokens or keep a buyback wall in place; the Slothbuzzcurator is throwing out bigger, even max votes to share tokens far and wide. Our sloth tip bot has been relaxed enough to let him buzz around your content. Things are slothly moving in the right direction again, with the token finding its actual value within the community. We have also fostered ties with Thgaming and Pimp communities boosting their liquidity pools. We are also part of the LOLZ defi program and a 'drip' token within the BBH ecosystem.

Taking a step back and just appreciating what we have has made a big difference; our token is a tiny part of our community. What price it holds is irrelevant to us. It's priceless in our eyes. (Although some clever sloths are making a killing swing trading the token. With such low liquidity, it's a real gem for trading those swings!) We focus on building a buzzing place for all, regardless if you're the buzziest bee or the slothliest sloth! There's something for everyone at Sloth.Buzz.

I thought I had more to add to this post; there's so much information about slothbuzz. It's been an exciting journey; I wonder if 'Grok' knows anything about slothbuzz? Let's challenge AI; after all, AI is the future, right?

I mean, I probably couldn't have said it better myself, although that's basically my first 'What is slothbuzz' post! Maybe I should just use AI for all my posts! However, if most of the information is from me from all those previous posts mentioned in this post. Where would it get my awesome ideas? I do like the summary; maybe we could build that into something of a motto:

sloth.buzz a vibrant community hub for those interested in gaming and crypto based on a decentralised platform.

Simples, but it needs a bit more work!

I think I'll ask grok to make that a little more 'effective' and we'll see if we can roll with something like that! Look out for the next post about sloth.buzz (if i remember!).
