Slothbuzz.com updates, new delegation trail and curations! SMW Round 13 is live!
Good afternoon buzzers! Happy Hump Day! Today we're having a look at the recent updates to Slothbuzz.com, the new curation and delegation system being adopted and inviting you all to become part of Slothbuzz, whether it be as creators, curators, viewers or even developers!
Slothbuzz.com updates, ease of use and more features!
Slothbuzz.com has had another mini round of updates, fixing a few bugs, adding a couple of more features, or refining some of the features we already had! We could do 'dev update' posts, but they can get tiresome when we go over hundreds of tiny fixes, so we like to keep things more personal and talk about what you see/use and request!
With that in mind, if you have any suggestions/feedback for how we can improve Slothbuzz.com, we're always open to ideas! Drop a comment or join the Discord and talk with the Sloths directly!
We've updated our 'engage' features, cleaned things up, and made it easier to reply to notifications, check the thread, and catch up on what it's about before replying. Like and reply at the same time, or skip posts you don't need to reply to.
Check in with your friends to see who you're following, who's following you, and those hidden lurkers who have been quietly upvoting and supporting your content under the radar! You can also check some stats on your recent activity and interactions across Hive.
Check your Slothbuzz.com settings; have you tried 'sloth' language? It's English, well, Scottish, with a twist; it was implemented by someone with no idea what the translations actually say! Can you work out some Slothish and talk more like Sloth? Not that you'd want to, but it's a funny little hidden feature
While you're in settings, update your profile, create a customised landing page, set your vote defaults, and use other features, including dyslexia Mode, to help clean up text and make reading easier!
There's a never-ending stream of short-form content, now including Liketu moments! Hang out with the Sloths Shortform platform and interact with users across Hangs, Threads, Snaps, Waves, moments and Dbuzzes!

Sloths Mining War Round 13 is live!
There's a new round of Sloths Mining War, launching this morning at 8am UTC, you're still early enough to join in and chase that leaderboard prize! Don't forget: there are multiple ways to earn, so you don't have to put all your Slothshards in one basket! Stake honey to the Burn 'em honey pot, fight the boss, or flip boosters for quick returns! Your strategy shapes your game! Are you going to buzz for glory, or keep sloth and steady making the most of every opportunity!
Don't forget you can give yourself a customised nickname in-game. Are you brave enough to tempt the other sloths into attacking you with a cheeky name, or will you stick to the basics and use your Hive name, so everyone knows who they're targeting, and they better hide from you elsewhere on the chain! (of course, it's all fun, we want to bring players together, not pit them against one another...too much!)
This is why we have our daily game update and ingame thread from @shw-game! Allowing players to drop easy feedback, ask any questions or have some in-game fun with the other sloths in the tree! Make a buzz, on and off the battlefield! May the best Sloth rule them all!
Reshaping our delegation and curation process
Since we slothed our way into Hive, we've been sloth and steady sharing our curation efforts around Hive. Following some awesome trails introduced us to awesome creators, but now it's time to hone our focus on #slothbuzz! We've still got our main curation account @slothbuzzcurator manually curating content with the Slothbuzz tag. The vote was always focused on giving a little extra $slothbuzz buzz! Earning you a higher share of the daily pob rewards!
We've now added the ability to delegate to our new account, @slothbuzzcurate, which holds a little more HP backing instead of $Slothbuzz tokens! This new curation account will be the powerhouse behind Slothbuzz, and it also gives delegators a chance to help push Slothbuzz while retaining 90% of the rewards their delegations accrue! We're using @hivediscomod to auto-transfer 90% of the earnings straight back to delegators. This gives us a little more curation power in Hive and allows us to further support our users!
Consider adding some HP backing to @slothbuzzcurate and help us support the buzzers all around Hive!
We're also considering using the other curation feature of Hivediscomod to allow users to curate directly from our Discord server. This would mean more posts have the chance to get this new bumper-backed upvote! If you're interested in helping us curate, please message us or join us on Discord to discuss it further!
We just started the bot, so it will take 7 days before the first earnings are distributed. Remember: if you delegate, it will also be 7 days before you start receiving payouts, since you're only voting on posts as and when you delegate, which takes 7 days to process and pay out!

Slothbuzz token burns and buyback!
We continue our buybacks and burns, with @slothburn leading the charge and adding Sloths Mining War to the burn process; every token used in-game is now automatically 50% burned! This is keeping the liquid supply extremely low, so the market can be unpredictable! Right now, we're seeing a steady uptrend as players buy $slothbuzz to get more Torpors in-game. And who can blame them? 8 hours of guaranteed peace from attacks! It's a sloths dream, 8 hours of sleep!
Slothburn recently posted about the current burns, with around 8 per 3 days, or almost 20 per week. With only 6.9 minted per day, 50% to authors 50% to curators, being paid out in the form of 50% staked, 50% liquid, only around 12 $slothbuzz a week are currently liquid from the daily mints. So, we're already burning more than we're minting in liquid form, almost 50% of all daily tokens minted!

Slothbuzz was started with one goal in mind: creating the buzziest place for everyone to hang, buzz and grow! We want to support everyone do their thing on Hive, from creators to curators, community butterflies to curation bees! Everyone has a home at Slothbuzz.
