Today marks the Summer Solstice, at least here in the northern hemisphere.

Summer is often the season of growth for people; a time when you have cleaned out the old and are working on building new projects that you dreamed up in the winter and spring.

Recently, I have been looking at some of my Hive goals, and my progress. Alas, things don't always go as hoped for!

I haven't really had time to pursue my intentions to get regular with the PeakD "Snaps" feature the way I planned to. Although I was never that much into the whole twitter/short format thing, I do like the way Snaps is seamlessly integrated into the @peakd interface, and it does a better job of tracking and showing nested conversations than the other providers within that particular subspace on Hive, particularly when it comes replies and to "responses to responses."

As we approach summer, I am also growing increasingly aware that we are getting close to the half-way mark of 2025.

Am I half-way to my Hive goals, yet? Am I half-way to any of my goals, yet?

I set pretty modest goals for 2025... but even so, I am nowhere close to half-way there, at this time. I'm not impressed with myself!

But it generally doesn't do you much good to beat yourself up over stuff that "could have been." We are where we are now, so that's where we have to go from.

As some wise person (whose name escapes me) once remarked: "It's only "too late" if you don't start NOW!"

On the plus side, I have been slowly building my stake in three liquidity pools tied to the CCC token, which was the reason this account was created, in the first place... way back on the original chain, before there even was a Hive.

The free standing CCC front ends appear to be long gone, but the @cccf organization lives on as original creator of three liquidity pools on Tribaldex:

CCC:WIT
CCC:PHOTO
CCC:MUSIC

Whereas these are somewhat obscure layer two tokens, they do pay out some nice "drip" rewards that certain add up to something, over time.

Of course, I just dabble in very small amounts... but you have to start somewhere, right? The nice thing is that I am slowly building stakes in a variety of projects I might otherwise never have heard of!

Whether they end up amounting to anything in the long run... well, that remains to be seen. After all, 2nd Layer Hive-Engine tokens have a pretty patchy track record.

That said, I keep plodding forward!
