Health is a priceless blessing in human life. We all want our body and mind to be healthy. If the body and mind are healthy, life goes on in a normal rhythm. But the reality is that people cannot always be healthy even if they want to. For various reasons the body becomes weak and the immune system cannot function properly and then illness consumes us. Many times the body heals itself slowly but in many cases relying only on the body does not work and medical help is needed.

There are basically two paths open to us in terms of medicine. On the one hand, there is the modern science-based medical system and on the other hand, there is the traditional medical system that has been around since ancient times. There are many differences of opinion among people about which of these two systems is better. Some are in favor of traditional medicine, while others consider modern medicine to be the only hope. Both sides explain their position with their own experience and arguments. So naturally, the question arises as to which is actually more suitable for many.
Traditional medical systems have been trusted by people for many centuries. Even after the development of modern medicine, the popularity of this medical system has not completely decreased. One of the biggest reasons for this is that its side effects are relatively few. Many people believe that if a treatment can benefit even if it is slow, then it must be worth it. In addition, traditional medicine is generally readily available and inexpensive, making it an acceptable alternative for the common man. If used with the right knowledge and rules, this treatment can give good results in many common diseases.
On the other hand, the modern medical system is based entirely on scientific research and testing. Its greatest strength is its rapid effectiveness. When the disease becomes serious, modern medicine is the place to rely on. In many complex and life-threatening diseases, the evidence for the effectiveness of traditional medicine is still insufficient. Therefore, in these situations, there is no realistic alternative except modern medicine. However, there is no way to deny that modern medicine often has some side effects.
Scientists are constantly trying to reduce these side effects, but it has not yet been possible to ensure completely side-effect-free treatment. Still, the success rate and life-saving power of modern medicine are so high that people choose this treatment path despite knowing the risks. Considering all aspects, I think it is difficult to say which treatment method is the best. Traditional medicine can be effective and safe in cases of common and mild illnesses. But when the disease becomes complex or life-threatening, modern medicine is our most reliable refuge.
