Lesson from movies

Hi everyone, I've been having challenges with my phone but by the grace of God am back. I thank hive reachout for this beautiful topic "lesson from movies", it's telling us that we don't be the watchers only but also share what we learned after watching a movie, the topic is also telling us that's we have to know the kind of movies we watch, if you're not learning from it, then don't waste your time watching it.

Talking about movies,Honestly I must say, I'm not a fan of movies especially Nollywood though i do watch them anyway, But I can say I'm very good with cartoons that tells good stories like Beauty and the beast, sleeping beauty, snow white, barbies, Shrek, Garfield etc. I also watched christian movies, especially mount Zion films, like, shackles, abbatoir, etc.

I've watched a couple of Nollywood movies like Egg of life, Christ in me, Hope of Glory, etc; And they're all quite interesting that I don't even know the one to talk about cos I learnt one or two things from them, one movie that caught my attention is BLOOD SISTER, though I can't tell the producer, but that movies taught me a lot. The movie featured Omotola jelade, Genevieve Nnaji, Patience Ozokwo, Tony umeze etc.

The movie is talking about two sisters that love themselves, the older one is married with two kids, she taught her children to be good and prayerful, she talked to her husband about her sister and they both decides to help her junior sister by accommodating her in her own house while she finishes her higher institution and got a job. But the junior sis is jealous of her elder sister because her elder sisters husband love his wife so much and he always spoils her with love and gift of all kind. Then the junior sister decided to get the man and have him to herself,(Her sisters husband). So she killed her elder sister with poisen and married her husband and even be came pregnant, and then turned her sisters children to her slaves. During delivery, God held her down she wasn't able to give birth coupled with the fact that her sisters ghost was hunting her and that was how she confessed and died.

I learnt that, first, we should train our children to good and prayerful, secondly, we should be wise and trust no one except God. Thirdly, we should do good to people no matter what. Its also telling parents to pay attention to their children, always time for them especially when one parent is nore. Even to teachers, always look out for your students when you noticed changes because a mother only owns her child when it's still in the womb but when the child is out, it's not only the parent that trains them. Because if the child is good, the community enjoys also, if the child is bad, the community suffers it also. The movie also tells us that betrayal is bad, karma is real, it is GOOD TO BE GOOD.
