I must admit that the thought of life after Hive has crossed my mind, but I am holding on to one hope; Hive is an amazing technological marvel. The combination of AI coding, Hive's fast and essentially free transactions, the miracle of custom and the entrepeurial spirit of many on Hive may yet save the community by allowing people with ideas but no coding skills to build their dream businesses on Hive. I feel we owe much to so many developers and contributors for building great infrastructure here. I hope to announce bigger and better versions of some projects I ran on Hive before, but now with front-ends and back-ends built on top of Hive.
Will their dream businesses be safe though? If they don't have any coding experience how can they know if their dapp is secure and safe?
Good question. They will be dependent on the AI coding website or AI Agent like ChatGPT.
I am sure vulnerabilities will be exploited, but it seems that even things created by coders can be exploited, so these projects may not vary in safety from others. But only time will tell.
Hive-Engine bridges were recently hacked and Etherium and BNB to name two were lost. Cryptocurrency is the wild wild west for sure, and even teams as sophisticated as the Splinterlands founder and HIve-Engine side chain creator can be hacked. I think it depends on whether the honeypot is worth the effort.
