I used to do small IT consulting gigs on the side and it payed triple my hourly rate at the main job. Might get into it again since I am 50% in the office these days...

Yeah, that sounds about right for what I charge too. It's just so infrequent here. Much smaller city, so not the clients like you probably have there. Plus my full time job keeps me in the office 50 hours or so a week.
