Don't know how it is over there, but here in Seattle area everyone I know has PCP, but good luck trying to schedule a visit to a specialist, the wait for anything is six months plus. With some of the issues you would be long dead before that visit happens, so PCPs and the specialists basically tell you to just go to the emergency room, which increases those insurance costs...

Yeah it's the same here even in a smaller demographic. My wife has been waiting to get into a specialist for half a year now.
