RE: A Flood of Options

Your grass looks amazing to me. My father was "turf obsessed" so we always had absolutely amazing yards and that appreciation transferred to me. I think that this idea of having a fantastic yard might be an almost purely north american thing though because I haven't noticed much sense of pride in grass any of the places that I have lived other than obvious places like golf courses. Not sure about Europe. I think part of the reason is because while it is quite common in USA to own a rather large plot of land, it rarely happens over here. Even the ultra wealthy here generally don't have large gardens/yards. They have a majestically huge house that has 1 or 2 meters from a wall the separates them from the next door neighbor's plot of land.

In fact, I have never seen a private residence in Da Nang with a large private yard at all

Point is, I think you are doing a great job with your yard dude. Well done.

Thanks! It actually looks a lot better from a distance than when you see them up close. We just recently started having the front yard treated in the past couple of years but we skipped the back yard while we had Jovi. Now that she is gone I just haven't felt like paying the extra to have them treat it.

treated by a service company with specialized fertilizers and PH adjustment and stuff like that? I worked for a turf company when I was in college, it was a pretty great job and there is a real science to that stuff. Not just a one-size-fits-all situation.
