Personal stories and experiences are the most valuable content on the Hive blockchain

We all have our hobbies and interest, watching the markets, reading the news and stayed informed about different domains. And from that we somehow end up writing on the Hive blockchain by relating what captured our attention in those reading. But while these might be useful to be shared, I see that the most appreciated content on the Hive blockchain is the one that comes from our stories and experiences. There is something appealing in reading something true and natural, rather than some rewritings of some news. Such content brings the writer closer to the reader and I think this connection is more appreciated as it awakens a feeling of belonging through similar experiences or an eye opening by looking at things through a different perspective. But it all starts from a personal view on things and writing about that with our own words, even if sometimes those seem unpolished.

Don't get me wrong, some news if published at the right time might become a gem and a good investment and I've seen that in years of being around the Hive blockchain. Some investments which got x20 started from here, while others which decreased x10 also were presented in some authors writings on this platform. But the moment was opportune for everyone of them as even on those that ultimately failed there was a period of positive returns. But it is upon anyone of us to be greedy or more moderate when it comes to taking profits. And also to measure the risk of our investment needs to be considered as usually when there is a hype on something, it might be short lived in the end. Thus, I always appreciate some financial investment "tips" that got their seed on the Hive blockchain.

But we aren't only thinking on investments in this ecosystem. Sometimes or most of the times we want to establish some real connections built on common interests and passions. And we can achieve this mostly through our personal stories and experiences and let the others find common ground in them. And from there a beautiful story might come to life and find new "friends". Sometimes the friends from here, might be more real that the ones from our reality and surroundings. Because usually who we meet here doesn't request something from us, we don't have any obligations towards them but rather we share common interests and hobbies. We are creating this way a digital world where we have positive experiences as compared to the harsh real world. And I think this is why many of us are still here and enjoying the Hive ecosystem.

The topic of this article came to me in a lunch break after reading some articles on the Hive blockchain. And some of the posts seem common and even presented some things over and over again, but others had simple personal touch. And for some reason the last category captured my attention and I ended up reading them fully and even got some smiles out of that. The human connection and experience cannot be replaced - even by AI - and I think this is why human content will always be valuable. In times where we are invaded by AI content from every angles, keeping ourselves true and letting others see that through our opinions, experiences and stories is something that will always be in need and appreciated. So let's continue to be real and continue our story on the Hive blockchain and beyond.

I agree with this take. In a time of such easy access to information, not sure how valuable regurgitation of that information is needed. Maybe if its commentary/opinion on how that news or info makes the person feel.
Im less into this Proof of Brain idea and more into POH =Proof of Human
In a world increasingly digitized and Ai’ified…
We humans need proof of stink, sweat, blood. Maybe we cant meet other users in real life, but it doesnt mean we cant share our human-ess, our mistakes, our guts… a sense of our real selves.
That what i seek on chain atleast.

Personally, I do not read much of news type stuff. With utmost love for literature and political world, I try to keep myself attached with these things. Personal experiences is a fun read, especially on Hive. There is a reason behind it - the experience. What people need to realize is that there is a difference between sharing information and sharing experience.
Morover, every humanly written piece has its own style, story and reasoning; and surely, AI, at least for now, cannot compete in this market. Another thing about personal posts is that they often spark meaningful and warm conversations. Facts are usually accepted or opposed, but experiences invite discussions and not debates. Not anti-debate kind of person, but discussions are better than debates. In the end, interaction is what gives Hive its social aspect and makes the platform feel like a community, not just another publishing and earning platform.

I write my blog here for myself more than anyone else. I'm happy if some people get something from it though.

Yes, you got it there. Many of the posts here are the same old shit to put it bluntly.. and even some of those get my vote, else I would be at 100% VP most of the time.

The genuine connections we build through our stories and experiences, to me are the greatest value I have gotten from this blockchain.

No matter who we are or where we are, we share commonalities as human beings. We’ve all experienced joy, sadness, embarrassment, disappointment, and a wide range of other emotions. It is the emotions embedded in every personal story that make us feel connected to the writer.

Furthermore, by learning through other people’s stories, we don’t have to experience those events firsthand to feel the same way. Isn’t experience the best teacher? Whether it’s our own personal experiences or those of others conveyed through stories.
