Discovering Natural Gem by 40 KM Cycling Session!

Greetings from Beijing!

I currently live in Huairou City, which is close to the northern border of Beijing. As Beijing is so huge, different parts of the city are different from each other and I love to explore them in my own way. For example, there are hundreds of mountains and many lakes in the city's northern area. I live in such a beautiful place that I think it's a blessing. I went on my usual bicycle trip today and now I am going to reveal what I have found in today's 40+ km riding session.

Today I chose to go riding instead of visiting tourist spots because the weather was good and so, I have gone further than most of the cycling days I do usually. I started cycling around 1:45 pm and kept going until 3:30 pm, stopping to rest and enjoy the scenery along the way. It was a tiring but I enjoyed the ride as the weather was cloudy and now the temperature has dropped under 25 degree celsius ranges in current days.

The mountain roads are higher than the roads in the city, so riding my bike to the area felt like going to new heights. Because I was interested in the mountains, I chose to go further. I had done that climb many times before, but it was still hard. I like the challenge of starting over every time. A natural cover of tall trees lined the roads. Today, the clouds blocked the sun even more, so the natural canopy make me much more comfortable.

This secret gem is tucked away in a lovely neighborhood of Huairou City, surrounded by beautiful mountains. Beautiful scenery surrounded me on my 20-kilometer far from my living palce, which was a refreshing experience with Mother Nature. Plus it was a good lesson with some much-needed exercise to keep me healthy because I have to live a bad life with too much desk work.

The location I am talking about is the Quanshuitou Village Eco Park which has covered a lot of areas in this part of the Huairou district. The park is also divided into many parts as several roads have divided into many parts and the park is located just beside the Yanqihu Scenic Spot.

I have entered the park from the side where the International Yanqi Convention Center which is one of the most spectacular structures in the district. We had our last conference in this convention hall last year. So I have known these areas since that time.

I broke all the old records today again when I rode 40+ km from about 2 pm to 6:30 pm at the evening, with breaks for exploring. At first look, the place will definitely catch your eye with its amazing natural beauty and lush green surroundings. This is especially true in the summer or spring, as the winter is very different. It feels and looks like a fairy land and garden you dream to walk.

As I walked through the road inside the park, I could see beautiful green trees by the road and green leaves everywhere I looked. Some of the roads were so nice because the trees along the sides made them look nice with some flower plants by the road.

The temperature outside was about 24 degrees Celsius because the sun was behind clouds. Usually, it's about 25 degrees Celsius at this time of day in the summer where I live at the moment. Even though the wind wasn't stronger this afternoon, the clouds kept me from being too tired during this cycling session.

The roads to the Area were very pretty when I got there. It was surrounded by lots of trees, and their bright green leaves stood out sharply against the concrete cityscape I had just left behind. It made me feel relaxed as the environment became more peaceful.

The mountain roads are higher than the roads in the city, so riding my bike to the area felt like going to new heights. Because I was interested in the mountains, I chose to go further. I had done that climb many times before, but it was still hard. I like the challenge of starting over every time. A natural cover of tall trees lined the path. That day, the clouds blocked the sun even more, so the natural canopy didn't need to be there.

It was much less crowded in the forest area today than in the city. It's close to the Huairou city area, and there are a lot of meeting buildings and party places in this area. These parts of the city also have a lot of resorts, and I saw some tourists having a good time there.

I saw a lot of people going on the path next to the road. Bikes and other two-wheeled cars are the only ones that can use the road. The scenery was truly amazing, and it was easy to see why people chose that particular spot as a vacation spot.

Also I have taken a good dinner in the Muslim restaurant as I was feeling so tired to cook toady as I used to cook during holidays and weekends. I ate the inner organs like the stomach of cow which is one of my favorit though the food was not cooked in the same way as wee cook in Bangladesh but I love that.

I hope you like my blog on the cycling session to the Quanshuitou Village Eco Park which is a great place to have a tour in Beijing to embrace the beautiful mother nature in the heart of a concrete world. I hope to catch you in my next blog. If you have any queries, please let me know in the comments.

Thank you very much for your time and attention.

Wishing you a great day, it is time to leave for today, Take care.

assalam alaykum, @tanzil2024 !
Dear Hassan!
The Chinese have great skills and passion for building and maintaining parks!

I remember you went to Yuanmingyuan! The history of East asian people building parks is very old.

I ate the inner organs like the stomach of cow which is one of my favorit though the food was not cooked in the same way as wee cook in Bangladesh but I love that.

You must have been very tired because you traveled more than 40 kilometers a day! I love beef dishes!
I wonder what the food you ate tastes like!😄

Yeah, you are right, I can feel that they take care of these parks very carefully.
I love spicy dishes and rice is my favorite as a staple food.
Thanks for your comment.
