We just got back from a few days in Leiden. We almost hired some bikes to get out the parkrun at Kagerzoom but ended but just walking because of the possible wind and rain forecast for Whitmonday just gone. We enjoyed exploring Leiden and marvelled at the long days and many bike paths.

Funny. I live nearby, but hadn't heard about the park runs before.
I am more of a cyclist, but I cycle there sometimes too.
We did 5 parkruns in 4 countries in 3 weeks. We took advantage of the Dutch Whit Monday public holiday and Danish Ascension public holiday. parkrun held extra events on those days. Then we picked up 3 normal Saturday parkruns visiting some family and friends. There was a lot of travelling! It is good to be home for a rest.
