RE: More cycling stuff, less PC time...

I love how thoughtful you are and how busy you keep yourself, haha… The idea of a motivational phrase came to me because I usually open Instagram for about 15 minutes a day to watch funny reels and have a laugh, but I also get cycling reels with lots of those phrases I enjoy. You even added one to the poster you asked the AI to make, haha… Thanks, as always, for being around. It’s a privilege to have your support. And hey, yes, our Friendlymoose did a brilliant job with that QR code. He’s a great Hiver and a true leader of the Community—no doubt about it.

Cycling is very dangerous too… thinking about the Giro d’Italia and other crashes I’ve seen in different competitions… but then again, what isn’t dangerous in this life?

And about what you say—training all year only to end up like that because of something beyond your control… it’s said that things are neither good nor bad, it all depends on the lens through which you look. It reminds me of the story of the man whose horses ran away. The neighbours came and said: “What bad luck!” He replied: “Maybe yes, maybe no, we’ll see.” Later, the horses returned with more wild ones from the mountains. The neighbours exclaimed: “What good luck!” Again he said: “Maybe.” Then his son tried to ride one of the wild horses, fell, and broke his leg. The neighbours cried: “What bad luck!” He answered the same. Days later, war broke out and they came to enlist the young man, but with a broken leg he couldn’t go… so then?

😁

Cheers!
