When I registered my account on Hive back in 2020 I found a lot of interesting communities. There were communities for every of interests except one; cycling. As a cycling enthusiast I missed a place where I could share my cycling stories. As anyone is free to create a community I decided to create a cycling community.
September 3rd 2020 I created my first post and the weeks after that I tried to promote the community a bit. Unfortunately it failed miserably. I didn't had the knowledge and network to bring the community under the attention of other cyclist.
Two years and roughly 750 followers later I decided to give it another try. October 2022 I restarted the Cycling community. And now; 6 months later the community has grown quite a bit. We have 74 subscribers and the number is slowly growing.
I also have received quite some delegations with which I can support Cycling related posts.
But still every week I get surprised replies by people who didn't know of the existence of the Cycling Community
So I want to bring this community to the attention of more Hivers. And I could really use some help with that.
Let's go for 100 subscribers by the end of april!
You can bring the Cycling Community under the attention by reblogging this post.
You could also tag any Hiver that is also into cycling in the commentsto bring the Cycling Community to their attention.
You can also delegate some HP to the Cycling Community account. This account wil upvote all cycling related posts. Your help is highly appreciated.
I've also created a Cycling community curation trail. If you go to http://hive.vote you can search for the hive-177745 curation trail. This is the account of the Cycling community which will be used to vote on cycling related posts.
If you have any ideas for this community; I'm open to any suggestion. Feel free to contact me on Discord (friendlymoose#5717). I've also setup a Cycling Community Discord Channel (https://discord.gg/9rJZUqabvH) which you can join. It is still a bit quiet in there, but I hope that will change soon.
Photographing is my passion. Although I like photography in general, nature photography is one of my favourite subjects. I often go out with my camera for a hike to capture the beauty of nature.
I would love to read what you think of my photos in the comments.

Every week I create a post with an overview of all the #photocontests on Hive.
I also host my own #POBPhotocontest

I'm in! I've just set the cycling community on my daily watch. The more ppl cycling, the healthier and sexier we become. Hooooray.
Welcome aboard 👊🚲
tagging @mrprofessor dunno if he's in your community yet, but I know he's an avid biker
He was tagged in a posy I made earlier. I read he had a cycling photo contest once.
Good you found lots of cyclist already, hopefully they will be more active in your community as I thought there would be more activity with cycling being a popular sport

You're welcome!
I did cycling before, it was a lot of fun. I hope I can make it to do it again soon in the future.
Cycling is fun indeed. Don't you have a bike yourself?
Yes, but is using a bicycle to go to the store, because you do not have a car, "cycling"?
I could probably take pics of cyclists going past this place. They use it for training because its a nice grade and scenic.
The second example could be nice. If people don't mind you take pictures or them 🙂
Every time you sping the pedals it's cycling. Moving that buttie os what matters.
Almost time to get mine out for the Season :) Can't wait
Cool! What kind of bike do you have?
I'm trying to rise all year round, but I'm not making much kilometers in winter 😄
