@bitcoinman I would love it if we can explore getting the guest author rewards in in line with the benefits of the duo community.
Right now a guest author receives 5 DUO + 50% profit share. I am not completely sure if that is adding value to the project (my initial thoughts is that the 50% duo receives should be worth at least 5x price of DUO to make sense… therefore right now it feels a bit much / holders are sponsoring guest authors).
An alternative would be that guest authors receive 75% of the post rewards in 2 steps:
- @duo-curator receives liquid rewards from the posts. 25% is handled like the 50% the project used to keep.
- 75% is swapped to swap.hive => market buy order on $duo => 100% distributed to giest author.
That way the project, the holders aswell as the guest author get rewarded.
Could you share how you view this?

Well as we mentioned before, the 5 DUO guest bonus and other giveaways like the guessing games and the likes are not guaranteed to stay at the same rates, also we have not been having many guest authors and these have also been used as a way to provide loans for essentials, the team provided money for these loans from personal funds that along with things like the banner design and inLeo premium subscription are funded with our own funds and we compensate ourselves with DUO form the tranche and also much of the 5 bonus in these loans was not dispensed to these 2 guest authors and instead used towards paying back the loan.
However with all that being said I really appreciate the suggestion it certainly has a lot of weight to it and we will be sure to take it into consideration !DOU !BBH !DOOK !PIMP

U got a good question and a good idea about how to share this rewards, the way bitcoinman explain, this need a little more time while we add new Guest Authors for the post and can take a better look to this options.
