Getting My Son Hair Cut

Yesterday, I took my son to a barbershop to get his hair cut. The average cost for haircutting services ranges from $1 to $10. Non-air-conditioned barbershops typically charge $1 for children and $1.30 for adults, which I find quite affordable.

Opening a barbershop doesn't require certification, but barbers often join a union to keep pricing competitive and service quality high within the industry. These shops generally operate from 8 AM to 9 PM.

My son initially wanted a long, Korean-style haircut, but I suggested a military-style short cut. He agreed to the shorter style, reasoning that it would mean fewer trips to the barber. The haircut took about 40 minutes.

After his haircut, we bought some bakso and then headed home.
