RE: The Leo finance proposal: to vote or not to vote?

I think biases are quite important to pay attention to. The people who messaged you likely have a clear bias, I also have a bias. I invite everyone to do their own research and draw their own conclusions. Headlining reading what others say and taking their opinions at face value isn’t a wise way of making decisions.

All of the things outlined here aren’t new, I have been responding to them since our proposal went live. There are two specific people who have been attacking Leo and trying to tear us and the things we do down.

What is undeniable:

  1. INLEO is the #1 onboarder of new accounts to hive
  2. INLEO has brought microblogging to hive. Currently does over 35% of all hive engagement (and growing) in terms of comments on chain
  3. INLEO onboarded the entire Dash team and community: a collaboration with a $300M+ market cap project
  4. INLEO has been building technology for 6 years on hive. Investing our time and resources here

As far as AI stuff: there are people in the hive ecosystem experimenting with AI. The attack vector used by those who DM’d you is to attribute this activity to me. If you look into it, I have no involvement. If people wish to do things on chain and use INLEO to do it, am I responsible? Is what they’re doing even bad for the chain? Those are conclusions I invite the community to draw on their own. However, attributing them to me can be disproven in 10 seconds of research by looking at who is doing it.

AI is removed from all of our data collection. This can be seen on https://inleo.io/stats. I actually built this dashboard with my team about 1.5 weeks ago in response to these exact questions.

Onboarding results were stellar. Again, INLEO is the #1 onboarder of new accounts. Our activity metrics can also be seen on the above dashboard. The data there can be verified using the raw data sql download. Again, headlining reading the blog posts by people with agendas will not tell the full story.

We’ve been building on Hive for 6 years. The technology I’ve built is very clearly expensive to build and I self fund it. In addition to that, I own over 2M hive in non-doxxed accounts for personal reasons. This is a very okay thing to do - many others do it. Is it ideal? Maybe not. But INLEO’s investment in technology and building here for so many years speaks enough for itself.

Saying that we don’t invest in hive is completely innacurate and is easily disproven by just opening the platform.

The witness issue was quickly fixed, also easily verified by looking at the witness and seeing that it’s live and not missing blocks. I dislike when other witnesses jump on a bandwagon and talk nasty about Leo. It’s unproductive and I am not afraid to speak up about the nonsense we all know that certain witnesses can sometimes say.

Overall, I can refute each point individually and hopefully my words above do so in a clear, unemotional manner. That being said: this is a free, open and transparent blockchain. I have provided data, others provide data. The only real way to know the story is to look into it and draw your own conclusions. I am sure this comment will get replied to and someone (we all know who) will come here to refute everything I said.

Maybe instead of all this in-fighting, we should look at who is actually building positive things for this chain from a technology and community POV and who is just sitting around and complaining about those who are busy building for this ecosystem. I invite everyone to draw their own conclusions by looking themselves rather than headline reading or even taking my word for it.

To be fair I've seen the effort inLeo has been doing. It has improved over the years indeed.

This is why I will keep standing for INLEO. This is a project that made lots of people get to know about HIVE. Even the previous ones that left Hive is back because of the INLEO project. Kudos @khaleelkazi and your team members
