Shrink-flation has not spared us Halloween celebrants out here on the West either. I may have to buy candies tomorrow at 40% ans save then for next year's. Or I may slowly eat them before than.

I hear you there, it may be a great time to buy candy for next year today, assuming you can find any that isn't the "junk" no kid wants to receive for Halloween! lol
Then there's always the risk that I might snack on it too, but the prices will be much better. Shrinkflation is serious problem everywhere...

An issue is the cost of vacuum sealing with oxygen absorbers of Halloween candy can't justify the cash savings on the candy itself. And it does little to discourage me from opening up one now and then like when I'm alone in my house.
