Good evening, Paloma. This walk to the Rodanas Sanctuary is spectacular. I love the photos you took of those ancient olive trees, how you captured their texture and the nobility of this tree. Those pictures of the holm oaks weren't bad either... but the photos of the thistles are wonderful, and they also bring back memories of Madrid when it was still surrounded by poppies and thistles.

Buenas noches Paloma, este paseo laSantuario de Rodanas, es espectacular. Me encantan las fotografías que has tomado de esos olivos milenarios, como has capturado su textura y la nobleza de este árbol. Tampoco han estado mal esas imágenes de las encinas... pero las fotografías de los cardos son una maravila, y además me traen recuerdos de ese Madrid todavía rodeado de amapolas y cardos.

Me hace gracia la imagen de un Madrid rodeado de cardos y amapolas, tan diferente a lo que es hoy… va a ser verdad que eres más antiguo de lo que pareces, jajaja. Imagino que Madrid sigue rodeado de lo mismo, solo que cada vez hay que alejarse más para verlo.

I find it funny the image of a Madrid surrounded by thistles and poppies, so different from what it is today... it will be true that you are older than you look, hahaha. I imagine that Madrid is still surrounded by the same thing, only that every time you have to get further away to see it.
