Yo everyone, hope you’re good and happy new year to you all
I’ve been reflecting on my whole 2025, especially everything onchain, and felt like sharing this with you all.
2025 was intense — ups and downs like real life always is. Problems to solve, lessons to learn. But even through adversity, it was an amazing year. You don’t make great sailors in calm waters.

Early in the year, around April, I directed and released the Noggles Delta documentary. That became the onchain kickoff of my year.
Through Gnars and the whole crew doing incredible work, we installed the second Nouns x Gnars skateable sculpture in Rio de Janeiro, the city I call home.
For months, we documented the entire process: production, installation, and the opening event — with best tricks, video premieres, and music. All of that turned into a mini-doc telling the story and effort of our people, connecting onchain and IRL in the most honest way possible, grounded in real skate culture.

At the same time I was documenting Noggles Delta, I was also invited to document the second edition of Lil Gnars.
Two weekends with an incredible group of kids from a peripheral neighborhood, whose lives are being transformed through skateboarding, art, and culture.

We created short films showing how skateboarding can be a real tool for social impact and inclusion. Being close to projects like this still means a lot to me — especially when they’re deeply connected to skateboarding.
Another big moment in 2025 was releasing a new full skate video. This time in collaboration with my brother Humberto Peres and Barracão Shop.
The video showcases the skate scene from the outskirts of our city and the lifestyle of the Nogenta Crew.
The best part? We premiered the film during the Noggles Delta opening event, connecting everything and strengthening our independent scene even more.
Big shoutout to everyone building and pushing skate culture forward in Rio.

Gnars x Base
Another milestone blending work, lifestyle, IRL and onchain was creating a celebration video between Gnars DAO and the Base ecosystem, alongside Ionir Mera, Will Dias, ZimaDrop, and Vlad.
We shared values, vision, and creativity, releasing it through another GnarsDAO droposal — rewarding creators while supporting the community treasury. That balance feels important.

We also hosted the third edition of Skate Cine Nogenta, our public-space skate cineclub project.
We bring skateboarding, art, culture, and cinema to places with limited access — mixing everything that street culture does best.
We screened our own films alongside local creators, building a real connection with the local scene.
This project always makes me proud, and more editions are coming soon.

To close the year with a golden key, in November I joined the Gnars crew for my first Devconnect — and it was an incredible experience.
I talked more about this trip in a previous post, so if you haven’t checked it out yet, go take a look.

At the end of the day, I’m just grateful.
Grateful for a year full of learning, IRL friendships, and a lot of onchain counterculture — made possible through SkateHive and GnarsDAO.
Closing this text at 23:59 PM on January 1st, 2026, feeling thankful to the universe for every experience lived this past year.
Wishing an amazing 2026 to all of us.
Much love to everyone riding, filming, building, and believing.
