The penultimate weekend of the year 🥳

Today I want to share with you how was my experience last weekend, which happily coincided with Christmas Eve.

On Saturday the 23rd I dedicated myself to helping in the house, between my mom, my brother and I we carried out a general cleaning throughout the house. We clean and shake everything, the furniture, cabinets, shelves, pots, everything. And we were bringing forward some things for dinner.

In my country (Cuba) it is a tradition at this time to eat typical foods such as rice pudding, yams, fritters
Since Saturday night we were advancing the water of the congrís, the dough of the fritters and the meat dressing, we prefer to eat roast meat instead of turkey, we bought a leg of pork.

Sunday the 24th arrived and we started with the task in view of the preparations for dinner. In the morning we continued with the decoration of the house, we placed curtains and clean flowers, we picked up the patio well, because we decided to have dinner there.
Hours before noon we turned on the speakers and started enjoying my brother's list of songs, Adele's tone relieved the weight of Sundays, although this one looked very emotional from the beginning, the air on Sundays is always heavier than usual (or at least it gives me that feeling).

When the afternoon dawned we were ready for dinner, we got ready to enjoy a nice Christmas eve.

Arrivals at 8:00 pm we had everything ready, the meat was ready, the rice was ready, the yam was already boiled and ready for tasting. We prepared tomato, cabbage and lettuce vegetable salad, the fritters were already fried.

We received a surprise guest, my uncle on my mother's side decided to join us on Christmas eve and it was a pleasant pleasure to receive him.

The four of us had dinner as a family, the evening passed quietly, we told stories for a while and just like that the night disappeared and gave way to a new day.

This weekend was one of the best of the year, we took advantage of Saturday very well and really enjoyed Sunday.
