So this weekend I embarked on a 12 hours Road trip that took 14 hours instead. I travelled to see my family after a long time.

These were some of my experiences.
So for me i travel a bit frequently and there is Just always This one Person that is always on calls but the surprising thing is that it was the driver that made most of the calls tho it was mostly during the break times and while waiting for the traffic lights to turn green.

Sitted Right besides me was a Pretty newly wedded lady and you will ask me "how do I know that". Well, she is from the Northern part of my country and there are outfits and designs that brides put on their hands which takes time to go off. So that's how I knew 🤭. During the course of our Journey, She started having motion sickness which she claimed to have not had it before, She almost threw up in the car but thankfully I had a plastic bag with me. From this I learnt that it's just okay to have some mint, gum, plastic bag e.t.c during Road trips, because you might need it or someone else would 🤭

Another passenger that stood out for me was sited right behind me, he always complained about almost everything. He complained of my Phone's brightness, Absence of music, The volume of the music after it was played, the delay during break times and Lots more. The Passengers responded until it got to a point that everyone ignored him😂 of course he had to shut up.
Few hours through the journey we realized that there was a long queue of heavy duty trucks along the road and there were not moving, thankfully we were able to bypass them tho we had to wait also for some time till we got to the point and realized that two trucks heavily loaded Collided with each other and so there was a rescue mission and at that point, they were trying to pack these load of the road and then the trucks. All these were happening at night and it was raining. 🥺🥺🥺 At this point I paused and Thanked God for Life because indeed one could never tell His/Her fate when taking a Journey.

During break times, we had these Muslim Boys who would always go to Pray. They took it so serious and we're committed to it. I really learnt from them to commit and be consistent with whatever I believe in.
