Special days, superb days always spent with family, especially watching progress as they growing up or older.
Great to be with your Mother on the day, miles apart one does have to plan that little extra. Looks like you had busy but rewarding weekend.

It was pretty crazy busy, but yes, full of laughter and love!
Something I sorely miss is family all gathering together, normally in the garden where we grew up, teasing fun and laughter at a braai (BBQ).
