Weekend Sunday, Harvested the crops we worked so hard : The blessings we received as farmers are truly abundant❤️

Hello everyone Happy Sunday to all my fellow Hivers, friends, and followers especially to the active members of @Weekend Experiences Community it's me @clarabels this is my first time uploading published post here in this Lovely community and for this weekend experiences blog, I am thrilled to share with you all about what we Harvest this day without further Ado let's go.

Today is Sunday, my mom and I decided to go to our farm and inspected the banana plants we had planted and since there are so many bananas on the tree have ripened, we decided to harvest them.

After harvesting the bananas, we immediately transported them to our house, where we sorted the ripe ones from the unripe ones. One of our neighbor saw us and offered to buy some of the riped bananas.

We also harvested some crops, such as squash and cacao beans that is the main ingredient for making "Tablea".

We are very delightful because these were the only riped bananas left, and at the same time, we also made a profit from the bananas we planted.

We have a lot of unripe bananas left over, and my mom plans to make mashed bananas or what we called in Bisaya language "nilusak" mixed with grated coconut, sugar, and margarine.

Since we still have a lot of unripe bananas, we’ve displayed them at home so they’re readily available if any neighbors want to buy some. We also made pure "Tablea" from cacao beans last Saturday night. it’s perfect for making hot chocolate or what we called here as "sikwate" or "champorado" hot chocolate porr.

We’ve had an incredibly busy weekend,from Saturday through Sunday but overall, we are overjoyed to see and harvest the fruits of our hard work. We even made a profit and provided extra food for the family. Farming is no easy task, but the effort and patience are truly worth it for the sake of our family☺️
