Since the day I joined Hive, the journey has been very interesting for me. I have learned a lot, connected with amazing people, and discovered new ways of expressing myself. Today makes it even more special because it is my very first time writing in the Weekend Experience community, and I am so happy to share my opinion on the prompt given.
If I was asked to explain my life’s purpose, I would say without thinking twice that I believe there are many reasons why I was born into this world. I don’t see my life as just existing or passing time. I believe strongly that every single person has a reason for being here, and that includes me.
One of my main purposes is to help people in whatever way I can, whether physically, emotionally, or financially. I always tell myself that if God blesses me with abundance, I will never keep it to myself alone. I want to be a source of light, not just to my family, but also to outsiders who truly need me. Nothing gives me joy like seeing someone smile because I was able to support them. That is why one of my constant prayers is asking God to provide for me in abundance, not only for my comfort, but so I can extend that comfort to others.
I also believe another purpose of mine is to inspire people with my life. Sometimes, the way you live, the way you treat others, and the way you stay strong in hard times can motivate someone else who is struggling. I don’t think purpose is always about doing something big and loud. Sometimes, it is in the little things, being kind, listening when someone needs an ear, giving advice, or even sharing a smile with a stranger.
For me, having a purpose is not optional. It is compulsory because without it, life will feel empty. If a person wakes up every day without knowing why they are here, it becomes easy to get lost, depressed, or carried away by meaningless things. Purpose is like a compass; it gives direction and helps you stay focused even when life gets hard. Personally, I see my purpose as the reason I keep pushing every day, even when challenges come.
Another part of my purpose is to grow into the best version of myself. Life is a journey, and I don’t want to remain the same person I was yesterday. I want to keep learning, keep improving, and keep using my growth to impact others positively.
In summary, my life’s purpose is to help, to inspire, to grow, and to spread love wherever I find myself. I know I cannot solve all the problems of the world, but if I can touch even a few lives in a genuine way, then I believe I am already fulfilling the reason God created me. And that, for me, is more than enough.
