RE: Life In The Dark: The Unseen Beauty I'd Miss

That part where you said you’d miss expressing yourself through fashion really stood out. I’ve met blind folks who build a style through touch, simple labels, and trusted feedback, and they still own their look, while screen readers keep them active online. With training and a few tools, a lot of that lost control can return, even if the start feels scary. I still panic when the power blinks for a second, so I get it. Have you tried a short eyes-closed walk at home with someone nearby to notice what sounds and textures guide you?

I've never tried that, except playfully but not to take note of much. Maybe I should try that.
Thanks for stopping by.

Give it a go for two minutes in a clear room, one hand on the wall or a chair, barefoot so you can feel the floor. Notice sounds, air on your skin, textures under your fingers, and any smells. Jot a quick note or use a voice memo right after. If you try it, tell me what surprised you.
