Hello guys today I'd like to share some of my thoughts on the matter of personal finance and I'd be happy to get to know your opinions:
-You will probably never invest yourself rich. It is easy to believe that it is easy to find amazing stocks/cryptos/what ever, but it is not.
-You will probably never be able to live off assets. "Fire" is a good concept, but really hard to pull off.
-You will however live very comfortably if you learn how to save and you should do so with risks in mind (when do I need the money).
-You might beat the market a few times, but you are more likely to lose to it, therefore index funds are a better bet than "stonks" for most people. A portfolio for most people would be 50-60% global index fund, 10% emerging markets fund, 10% Asia/Europe fund and the rest in stocks/rates/metal/other. Don't get a home bias (invest to much in your own nation/regions economy).
-Get a wage job you are OK with. Don't be afraid of changing jobs.
-Live an okay lifestyle. The big three: home, car, food. Are what you should focus on to get for reasonable sums.
-And investing in a home should not just be to buy your next home. Most people who see homes as a fund, end up just using their homes as a way to buy an even more costly home. So the money will always be locked up in a house.. and there is no guarantee that houses will increase in value.. so don't put all eggs in one basket.
