Snowballing Hive #21

It's been a while since my previous post where I updated my activity regarding the concept of snowballing Hive. Even though things haven't changed much, it's time for a recap.

I think it's pretty obvious, but I want to emphasize that everything I discuss here is based on my experience, and I primarily use the earnings obtained through publishing content on the Hive blockchain. What you do with your money is your responsibility.

SNOWBALLING HIVE

Snowballing Hive is about compounding interest and maximizing wealth accumulation within the Hive ecosystem, though it's not limited to it. For example, it took me about two years to reach my first 1,000 Hive staked (Hive Power [HP]). However, it only took me one year to get the second 1,000 Hive staked. That's 50% less time to go from 1,000 to 2,000 than from 0 to 1,000.

The overall goal is to create a base that allows me to cover expenses without affecting my HP and, if possible, for the interest earned to cover my basic monthly needs. A tough challenge, but a long-term one. Of course, this only applies to those who see their Hive account as a personal business and seek the slow but steady creation and accumulation of wealth.

This series of posts also serves as a record of my successes and failures in this type of investment.

General Update

I'm maintaining my blog rewards at 50% in HBD and 50% in HP due to the need for liquidity. This allows me to take advantage of the opportunities the ecosystem offers; right now, that's accumulating cheap Hive (0.10 HUSD).

The goal of reaching 3000 HP before October 2026 is still in place, but it's a lower priority than accumulating LEO and liquid Hive. I currently have 2200 Hive staked, so I need to accumulate 800 more in 10 months. The real challenge is doing it solely with earnings from publishing and content curation.

On the other hand, I currently have a total of 1081 HSBI. This allows me to have a stable minimum income on Hive through my publications.

A special mention is that this month I purchased the INLEO premium for 10 HUSD. I'll have to wait 30 days to determine if it was financially worthwhile.

Changes to the Token List

The remaining tokens not on the holding list are being converted to one of the listed tokens to be included in liquidity pools or staking.

As you can see my token list remains focused on the following:

  • $LEO, LSTR, SURGE, POB, BBH, BBHO, CENT, BEE, WAIV

Token delegations on staking that provide passive income:

  • 3519 POB to @pob.voter, which gives me 0.04 HIVE weekly.

  • 18.08 BEE to @bee.voter with a reward of 0.022 HIVE every seven days.

  • 985 Hive Power to @leo.voter, which pays between 0.2 and 0.4 LEO daily.

I hold 12 636 BBH tokens, which give me a weekly profit of 0.06040724 SWAP.HIVE and 0.08 LEO. My BBH holdings increase each time I use the !BBH command to give a tip to a user.

As for BBHO, the goal is to reach 10,000 BBHO. I currently hold 1095 BBHO. This token can be earned by using #bbh as the first hashtag in your posts.

I also managed to accumulate 203 SURGE tokens, which are worth the equivalent of 0.583 HBD.

BBH and BBHO are tokens that pay dividends for holding or staking them.

Changes in Liquidity Pools

Changes in the HIVE:BEE and HIVE:CENT pairs are minimal. The increase in participation in the liquidity pools is covered by token rewards from curation or conversions. Although the dollar value has decreased, I'm not worried. This is always a risk when holding any cryptocurrency; the key is to choose those we're confident will recover their value.

It's important to be clear that you should only make investments you feel comfortable and confident about, but we also shouldn't let FOMO blind us. If there's no change in the fundamentals, sticking to the initial strategy is the right thing to do, even if the potential gains are lower.

Outside of Hive

The main activity I do outside of Hive to raise a little more crypto is promoting my posts and sharing thoughts on ReadCash. This is a blogging website where users give tips on Bitcoin Cash. Despite my limited activity there, I've managed to raise 0.0089 BCH.

Conclusion

These ideas are geared towards users who, like me, have very little or no capital to start investing. It primarily uses earnings obtained through publishing content on the Hive blockchain or using faucets or PTC pages. Time and patience are key.

I repeat, what you do with your money It's your responsibility. Do your research before investing.

If you have any ideas or questions to share, please leave them in the comments.
