Text-to-Video AI got next-level, best OpenAI Sora videos so far
OpenAI hat ein neue beeindruckende Text-zu-Video-KI präsentiert. Sora liefert eine stark verbesserte Kohärenz, längere Videos und 1080p-Auflösung. Die Qualität hat mich geflasht. Bisher waren KI-generierte Videos ziemlich low-quality.
Auf den ersten Blick sehen die Videos extrem echt aus, allerdings gibt es, wenn man genau hinschaut nach wie vor die üblichen Probleme zum Beispiel mit den Händen, fehlerhaften Text oder Objekte, die sich unnatürlich bewegen oder plötzlich aus dem Nichts auftauchen und wieder verschwinden.
Die KI ist auch nicht öffentlich zugänglich, sondern es wurden wahrscheinlich die besten Clips herausgepickt.
Rechne mit starken "Safety"/"Alignment"-Einschränkungen (aka Zensur), falls Sora öffentlich zugänglich werden sollte. Denke, dass man mit Sora keine Videos mit realen Personen erstellen wird dürfen. Schon gar nicht vor der US-Wahl.
Die Videos haben auch ein sichtbares Wasserzeichen /Strichcode rechts unten.
In Zukunft könnte man mit Sora zum Beispiel individuelle Stock-Videos erstellen, die sich gut in Videos oder Werbeclips einbauen lassen. Ziemlich heftig, und es gibt sicher noch weitere Anwendungsfälle ;)

OpenAI has unveiled a new impressive text-to-video AI. Sora delivers greatly improved coherence, longer videos and 1080p resolution. I was blown away by the quality yet again. Until now, AI-generated videos were pretty low-quality.
At first glance, the videos look extremely real, but if you look closely, there are still the usual problems, for example with hands, incorrect text or objects that move unnaturally or suddenly appear and disappear out of nowhere.
The AI is also not publicly available, but the best clips have probably been cherry picked.
Expect strong "safety"/"alignment" restrictions (aka censorship) if Sora becomes publicly available. Think that Sora will not allow to create videos with real persons. Especially not before the US election.
The videos also have a visible watermark / barcode at the bottom right.
In the future, Sora could be used to create individual stock videos, for example, which can be easily incorporated into videos or advertising clips. Pretty powerful, and there are certainly other use cases as well ;)

Denke so schnell werden Schauspieler und Studios nicht gleich arbeitslos werden, bzw zusperren müssen.
I saw the Sora videos and it's crazy how far it has improved compared to the Will Smith eating videos.
It honestly wont be long now before we have nearly fully or fully AI generated movies and other content. Which honestly I'm not worried about. If a writer can give enough prompt and guidance to a AI video you could most likely pump out a ton of shows and then make minor adjustments where need be that the AI might be getting wrong. There's a ton of good that can come out of AI like this (of course bad as well) but that comes with every evolution.
I also see the current state of AI more as new tools that will dramatically improve productivity, which is actually a good thing.
