My 148th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: 3/3 Weekly Goals Smashed, 9,200 HP Surpassed, and Two Investment Possibilities! - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Sunday, March 30, 2025

Welcome to my 148th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update! This past week was quite a good one for me, with all three of my weekly goals being smashed, and I crossed the threshold of 9,200 HP yesterday, a little ahead of schedule, which was a lovely surprise! I don't know how, but I even surpassed my reputation goal, which at 71 is quite an accomplishment!

At some point soon I'm going to modify my goals a bit, possibly removing my goal for reputation, and adding a few more for important layer-2 assets. I also may change some of the data that I record, to streamline these reports, and to make them more relevantly succinct. This process will likely be done in stages, and I'm not sure when I'm going to start at it, but it will be somewhat soon.

There are two potentially strong asset-leveraging Hive investments that I'm considering making soon, that I'll mention shortly. The main issue with one of these investments, and with many investments that I want to make, is the need for sufficient liquidity to do so. That is always the challenge it seems. Even with my Hive Multi-Stream Passive-Income Machine functioning fairly well, most of my investment liquidity comes in small amounts at a time, which is used almost immediately, especially in various diesel/liquidity pools. So I'd either have to make another fiat transfer, or strategically liquidate a portion of an as-yet-undecided asset, invest with that liquidity, and then rebuild the asset that I liquidated with the profits.

Enough about that for the moment, as it's time to review the numbers, to see how I actually did over the past week. Tallyho we go!

This week I gained +39.215 HP, +2.765 HBD in Savings, and a whopping +0.04 Reputation points, which means that I exceeded my HP goal by +9.088 HP, my goal for HBD in Savings by +0.270 HBD, and my even my goal for Reputation by a huge +0.02 Reputation points, so a really good week indeed! I also accumulated more HIVE over the last month, so I have a nice chunk to power up for HPUD today!

In terms of my HiveBuzz rankings, I inched up +3 places for HP, I leaped +11 places for HBD in Savings, and I jumped +8 places in Reputation, so pretty good here too. I had to take extra effort to successfully get my ranking for HBD in Savings (that one often has a problem), by manually scrolling through many pages of rankings until I finally found mine. Where there's a will, there's a way. Also, there was a discrepancy between my reputation on PeakD and HiveBuzz, PeakD said I was at 71.06, while HiveBuzz gave 71.07. Since HiveBuzz is all about collecting, analyzing, and ranking data, I'll go with that number, which also happens to be the higher one!

As I mentioned above, I'm strongly considering acting on two Hive investment opportunities in the very near future, one of which requires SWAP.HIVE liquidity to do it, while the other is just a reallocation of assets. First on the list is the XV token, which represents a diversified basket off 15 (hence XV) off-chain crypto assets that are being managed and grown by the Spinvest team over a 2-year period, at the end of which the tokens are bought back with the profit. The XV investment is scheduled to wrap up in fewer than 9 weeks, with the present gains being in the neighborhood of 3.6 times the original investment. What is peaking my interest is that there are a good number of XV tokens being offered on the market for quite a low price, so with the potential gains, it seems like a steal to me. So now I just have to decide from where I'm going to get the needed liquidity to buy at least a few more. We shall see!

The other investment opportunity that I'm mullng over is possibly withdrawing my good chunk of HBD from Savings, and adding it to the (presently small) pool of HIVE and HBD that I've been using to test the various AI-bot-trading profiles on Hive.Trading, two of which have so far demonstrated the ability to successfully grow these assets. I've been testing one bot per month, with one still to go. After I complete that test, I'll choose the winning bot to run for a six-month period, possibly with my chunk of HBD withdrawn from Savings. I just have to make sure that my profits exceed 15%, or it would not be worth it. I'm pretty sure that I'll be able to grow both my HIVE and HBD more quickly using bot trading, but I'll things will be clearer after my last trading test is finished. It may just happen!

Now on to my new set of goals, or achievable stretches, for this coming week! I have 52+ HIVE to power up later today for the April HPUD, which has of course been taken into account here. I have no clue how I gained so much in Reputation last week, but it's certainly encouraging. Because of that, I'll increase that goal by a little, and we'll see how it goes! OK, it's time, let's go!
