My First Hive Power Up!

I just finished reading the @ifarmgirl post titled "Celebrating a Small Win 15k HP Milestone" In the post, she also talked about the Hive power-up she did today, which is Hive power-up day(HPUD). I knew from a few on-and-off days here on Hive that every first day of the month is HPUD, but I don't think I have participated in any before. In fact, I had to check my previous articles to ensure that I wasn't making a mistake.

While reading FarmGirl's post, I realized that I could use as little as 10 hive to perform a power-up, so I decided to do it. And I'm really glad that even though my actions are very little in contributing to the Hive Ecosystem, I am taking a step in the right direction and the beginning of a new outlook towards Hive.

I can't wait to start investing in Hive and to be an active blogger. I hope by the end of this year I will reach the 500 HP goal mark, as I'm currently at 196 HP.

For newbies or people who might not be aware of Hive Power-Up Day, this is a screenshot I saw in FarmGirl's post detailing the requirement to participate in Hive Power-Up Day.
