Ok, I must admit that I had been nagging for a while about SCRAP performance on Terracore's discord and here in my posts. I had been even asking why the game was abandoned by @crypt0gnome. I sensed there's something wrong with the game's economy and I demanded some answers. I wasn't the only one. Especially in the topic of excluding a major part of the game out of players, who won't be able to enjoy planets, quests etc. It would take no less thab 24 days for me @jocieprosza to mine enough scrap to mint a crate. I'm top 40 player. You see it?
I'm still anxious about it, however the situation turned out more in the way as Gnome predicted. The scrap price kept falling down, but so was the supply. Since then the price not only has stabilised but the SCRAP appreciated +200% for a time.
The Terra.sinkhole Project liquid holdings are able to able to increase scrap price by 7-8% depending on pool's liquidity. Of course it would be a one time thing. If we counted staked HP we could rise the price up to 70% and it would take 13 weeks.
However, the not-so-great news is that I don't know why this project isn't growing. It's not dying either, but it's growth is limited. Yes, we provide 5% of liquidity in swap.hive:scrap pool, but I wished the project had more impact.
Will create another full report shortly.
