Cracking XXX Episode 3
Hello Hello Hivians and Threaders and Xters!
It is Thursday and that means that it is time for one of my designated X reports.
X as in what was formerly known as Twitter.
Actually, I am quite glad I chose to do this on a Thursday. I am starting this at 7.04pm and I am not sure when I will finish as Rangers are playing in Europe tonight.
The game kicks off at 8pm, but it means I am on Rangers Twitter hehe so I might get some impressions today after all.
I can still see a concerted effort from so many people getting the Hive name known on X and other web2 media. A big pat on your back if you are one of those people.
IT IS WORKING .... We are onboarding influencers and more users, that is a fluffing fact.
You would have perhaps guessed by the title that this post is about X (formerly Twitter).
This is the third episode that I have been showing my stats. I shall be reporting my findings and progress. Episode hehe I have got podcasting on the brain.

Well this might take a while...
I am back again it is 8.39pm and the score ... oh look let's go to X for the update ...
So yes we are winning 2-0 and it should be more! But did you see my post within 1 minute I got 16 impressions, that for me that fast if fluffing good! If only I can get the enthusiasm to give X a real go, I think I might be able to do soemthing.
I digress! Well that's no fluffing shock!
Two goals for Rangers at half time!
What a difference a new manager makes, we are fluffing flying and beating teams for fun!
My goals for X are also twofold:
1 Become monetized
2 Spread the Hive word and onboard users
Following 1st ep 1671 2nd ep 1667 this ep 1716
Followers 1st ep 2687 2nd ep 2715 this ep 2740
So I have been slowly removing users I have been following that either don't engage or we are not aligned.
My followers count increased by 25, actually it was more, because X are still suspending accounts left right and centre, and those get removed from your following.
To become monetized you need to do these 3 things:
✔️ Subscribe to Premium or Verified Organizations
❌ Have at least 5M impressions on your posts within the last 3 months
✔️ 500 followers
I have the easy bits sorted lol!

You can see all the red lol Yes my analytics are way way down and this has a knock on effect from a month ago.

Note it says 5M impressions on your posts within the last 3 months
My last three months' chart for impressions....
So I have 1.9 million (last week was 1.5 million) impressions for the last three months. Oh fluff me, I am well short lol
My reach has gone, the impressions from my comments have gone,
I have had my account limited in someway, I don't know how or what but NO Surrender ....
I am determined to persevere.
I had a purple patch where I could comment and get thousands of impressions, I did manage one yesterday which is shown below. It is a start.

12 profile clicks is cool, that is where we push the Hive info, keep pushing it folks...
So 20k in impressions is cool and the post?

In the meantime I shall be aiming to follow some X strategies we have devised with some other members of INLEO....

Thanks Ed, this is very insightful and I saw there were some good tips where you shared how to gain the impressions, did you try them yet?
One thing I noticed with X, Twitter is that it can dump your posts over and over again on people, and if it is on a topic they are not interested in, that might not go down so well. I think this is more an X algo thing than what the user can control, but I guess it shows that you need to be monolithic (and I guess not human) with your topics to have the best impact.
Thanks Steve, I need to make the time/attitude to actually get into X properly, make some posts and threadstorms and do it on a consistent basis for a week.
They announced that you will be able to customise your own algo, now that should be when you can mute so to speak content from people you don't want to see.

I would like to but I haven't been active on X for so long now. It would be like starting all over again!
YOu know the blooming thing with X is that things tend to reset every week. So it is very easy to go to the bottom of the pile lol so you would be starting with me too, as I left it and was backdown the pecking order!
You are soooo busy (≧▽≦) but this is a great challenge ha especially that 5M impressions. Like wth, ut seems too impossible for me. But woth you, I know you can do it. So good luck on that and we will just wait a good news from you one of this day (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)

5M impression sounds hard to achieve. You will get there, just keep doing what you are doing! Congrats for achieving this milestone.
I stopped using X a lot and focused more on LeoThreads instead. It's also hard to get the visibility that I want but I keep going!
It is hard but the way to do is by commenting on big accounts posts.
Threads is good and we are using X to get people onto Hive too.
yuh I think using Web 2 for promotion is a good way to onboard more users.

I still need more followers and impressions but this is the second Hive article I am reading today about X and metrics, patterns, and behaviors to be able to monetize with ex-Twitter. Thanks! I have taken a few important notes from your article and I find it completely reinforcing to me at this point!
No problem, it is like any social media platform (Hive included) it takes consistency, which is where I fail 🤣
I also failed severely, being gone for the last 5 months in Europe to work and being inactive in Hive...but now I promise myself I will be as proactive as I can here because I can feel belonging and support here.

Well the pots are decreasing, I need to focus on less things to actually progress if I am being honest!

but when I made the choice to go back to work so that I had more financing to support DreemPort - I knew... it was a choice of more money, less time
and I had previously had much more time, and less money!
Isn't that always the way??? I wish it weren't so (and I do pray that someday it WON'T be so. I pray that we will finaly achieve all that we want and that its more time AND more money! hehehe)
and you know - something very interesting just happened to me too regarding this... where I am presented with a very unique opportunity... and I'm trying to make the RIGHT choice! But its very very tricky, innit??? hehehehe
Im praying for wisdom and clarity and insight and.... then. I'll make the choice when I have peace.
and I hope that it just gets us all another step closer to that sweet spot for our teem in 2024. I have to say - 2023 has been exactly what I wanted it to be... and worked for it to be!
I love that we are all putting in what we can to make it slowly grow with stability and genuine connection!
and as far as the pots.... yep.
I used to have so many plates spinning... and even though I could actually KEEP them spinning.... I found that removing some made me more effective and efficient - with more peace, less stress! hehehe
so good on you for making those pots decrease!!! I think you'll be much happier when you find the few that really resonate with you - the progress will be smoother and steadier (and make for a happier Tengo!) hehehe
