Powering Up and Staying ahead of #myleogoals for #lpud

It's Power Up Day in the LeoVerse and I am Joining in the Fun!

FOMO is happening, what is all this lpud stuff?

Stands for Leo Power Up Day.

This is an event that is held the fifteenth of each month. It is designed to bring awareness of the importance of staking of LEO. The members of the Hive blockchain each take the opportunity to move liquid coins and convert them to Leo Power. This is the term used for staked tokens on-chain.

That was an extract from the LeoGlossary: LPUD page and I urge you all to go check out Leo Glossary as there is a stack of useful info.

We should all be using it, and linking to it all the time in our posts and comments. Let's get the LeoVerse rocking in 2023!

Back to the post and being the 15th my Power Up which was actually the first on this account.

This was the status of my wallet in my LeoFinance account.

You can see the LP delegation from my main @tengolotodo account sitting quite happily in there.

There was 151 LEO which I had in place to start the journey. I duly powered this up which resulted in

Earlier I had delegated all my LP from my main account to this LeoVerse account, so now I have an effective LP of 3551. Tasty but still well short of where I want to be at the end of the year.

My January lpud total is 700 + 151.505 = 851.505

In this post we made our goals for the year for LEO and how we would get them.
For January my goal was to gain 600 LP (my reasoning being that later in the year I would get more as I would be able to have higher curation rewards etc). AS you can see during this #lpud I have surpassed that by 250 Leo so I am pretty chuffed with that!

What will the second half of January bring. I don't know, I do know that I am on the way to hitting my LEO goal of becoming a Lion before the end of 2023.
