I think we have some accounts which don't behave very well, but I think a disproportionate amount of attention goes on this at the expense of thinking about and exploring other aspects of the ecosystem. I was truly surprised at the almost immediate focus on the powering down aspect of azircon's posts to the total discounting of almost everything else in the posts.
I actually think Hive is a multiplicity of things and can be many things to many people. We haven't realised yet all its potential, and in terms of an investment, I think, why I'm here is because I believe it is an investment in the future, of being being able to fund new economic ideas.
We're not there yet, it's a journey that we're learning on the way, including how we manage when there is no boss š
The hive community must be careful not to destroy itself with such actions. Hive is small compared to many other sites and I'm not talking about X, FB, Insta or anything like that. I'm talking about completely different sites/projects.
Hive has a few good things that the others don't have, but when it comes to paying out, there are some where it doesn't matter. So nobody comes and points the finger at you, shame on you for paying out.
Instead, they wanted to focus on making Hive better and thinking about how to get money into the system. Because every investor has to know that if money doesn't come in, the investment will eventually be worth nothing.
