Well I have to say that I would have never even thought of the ideas that the Hive community has in terms of innovation and the web 3.0. process. However, after being involved with things for over a year now, I can completely see how content creators and curators here could make this their full time work.
When it comes to curation, I think that maybe putting in the work 3-4 years ago set you up today to make a significant amount of money just providing your upvote to posts as your Hive balance has reached astronomical heights. In a way, this is a pretty cool thing as many of the whales on Hive reached their status through year after year of active participation, while others reached it through years of active investment. It is easy to feel left out of this if you're a newer account (1 year or younger), but prices are still at such a level where it is certainly possible to mirror their growth over the next few years (patience is just not my strong suit).
When it comes to content creation, things really heat up here. It is my belief that if you come to Hive with an idea and really stay consistent with it, you will eventually find your audience. I wrote yesterday about how I want to get involved with video production on @threespeak and I have gone ahead and ordered some equipment to do so.
I like to imagine what huge accounts on Youtube would do if they migrated over to Hive. Sure, they would not be making the massive advertising numbers they are making (a reason why I think Youtube will stick around a while, but that doesn't mean that they can't post on both web 3 and web 2) but they'd amass a following pretty quickly here on Hive and start getting PAID for their videos right away with no restrictions.
I have always been averse to the idea of working consistently in an office for many years. It is just something that I don't think I am capable of doing as I am constantly craving something new and something novel. For that reason, I have always viewed content creation as one of the coolest jobs ever whether you are making Youtube videos or performing a comedy show on a stage in a different city each weekend. Having something of your own to create and share and getting paid for that creativity is something that I have always wanted.
I may be a bit behind when it comes to content creation on web 2 and curation ability here on web 3, but I will be catching up rapidly. I plan on posting 2-3 times per day around different communities on Hive (different topics such as basketball, comedy, finance, etc.). I do think it is important to establish an identity in the content that you are creating, so my videos will likely fall into the same set category and I will let my blogging be where I am bouncing around on topics because that is where I am sharing my thoughts... Something that is always bouncing around and changing.
Establishing an identity through a video series will be tough, but it is a challenge that I believe I need to take on in order to find my niche in web 3.0. I hope that one day, the content that I create and the value I am able to gain from curating and engaging with others will be enough to support my dream of working from home being a creative. Hope y'all like what I am able to come up with!

Hello Rob.Yes indeed what I have seen so far inside the Hive blockchain is that there are numerous ways to expand someone's self and why not get paid in crypto also.I'm learning some of the basics of Hive during these days and what have noticed is the various programms and platforms that are here.
I get your meaning of your post and what I wish for you is detecting your niche soon with clear scope and good development.
Thank you for your comment! I appreciate hearing positive encouragement. Καλωσηρθες στην ομαδα φιλε μου!
Sounds like an admirable challenge! Stay with it. There are dry spells and then more rewarding times. Don't become discouraged in the droughts and don't get ahead of yourself when things are going well. All the best man!

Much appreciated!
It's a difference in what they can earn. Most of those Youtube people like it because every single video they made in the past can earn them money. So I don't think many will like the current system in HIVE where there is a 7 day payout window.

I did not consider that posts earned on Youtube retroactively, very good point.
