The worse the better for my HBD investment

Nie ukrywam, że jest to trochę frustrujące. Hive działa, HBD działa, ale pozostałe czynniki powodują, że efekt końcowy w PLN jest dużo poniżej oczekiwań. Zakończenie projektu odsuwa się w czasie, najprawdopodobniej ad calendas greacas, bo jestem bardziej niż przekonany o tym, że PLN pierdolnie względem USD o ile USA przestaną kręcić pawiana. A przynajmniej nie rozpoczną kolejnej wojny światowej. Moim zdaniem dane gospodarcze Polski nie napawają optymizmem. Skutki polityki doganiają. Czytałem ostatnio artykuł, który potwierdza problem, o którym wielokrotnie mówiłem. Artykuł pokazuje absurd lawinowego wzrostu wynagrodzeń doprowadził do tego, że stwierdzenie 'połowa Polaków zarabia tak, jakby miała niskie kwalifikacje' nie jest nieprawdziwe. Nie mam żadnego pomysłu makroekonomicznego na to jak można temu zaradzić. Sam w swojej firmie mam ten problem, gdzie budżet na wynagrodzenia (jego wzrost) jest zjedzony przez podwyżkę stawki minimalnej i przez to nie mam jak podnieść wynagrodzenia specjalistom. Nie wiem, jak w waszych branżach, ale wzrost wynagrodzenia 20% r/r nie powoduje automatycznie wzrostu przychodów o analogiczną wielkość. W tym roku wynagrodzenie minimalne wzrosło tylkoo 8.5%, więc udało mi się znowu osiągnąć stan, że nikt w firmie nie zarabia minimum. W każdym razie ta przydługa dygresja ma służyć jako zobrazowanie często pomijanego problemu polskiej gospodarki, gdyż większość skupia się na kosztach mediów czy podatkach. Więc długofalowo - imho of course - opłaca się postawić na dolara, czyli i HBD.

I won't deny that it's a bit frustrating. Hive is working, HBD is working, but other factors mean that the final result in PLN is far below expectations. Project completion is being postponed, most likely ad calendas greacas, because I'm more than convinced that the PLN will plummet against the USD unless the US stops its baboon-like behavior. Or at least starts another world war. In my opinion, Poland's economic data isn't encouraging. The effects of politics are catching up. I recently read an article that confirms the problem I've mentioned many times. The article shows the absurdity of the exponential salary increase, which has led to the statement that "half of Poles earn as if they had low qualifications" being true. I have no macroeconomic idea how to remedy this. I have this problem myself at my company, where the salary budget (and its increase) is being eaten up by the minimum wage increase, and as a result, I have no way to raise specialists' salaries. I don't know about your industry, but a 20% year-on-year salary increase doesn't automatically result in a corresponding increase in revenue. This year, the minimum wage increased only by 8.5%, so I've managed to reach a point where no one in the company earns the minimum wage again. In any case, this lengthy digression is meant to illustrate an often-overlooked problem in the Polish economy, as most focus on utility costs or taxes. So, in the long run—imho—it pays to bet on the dollar, and that includes HBD.

In Poland, a historic reversal of proportions has occurred – for the first time in over 20 years, the public administration sector (approx. 17%) contributes more to value added than the manufacturing industry (below 17%). This may indicate structural changes in the economy, increased involvement of the public sector, or a weakening of industry due to crises (e.g., the pandemic, inflation, the war in Ukraine). In contrast, the structure in the European Union has remained more stable and less susceptible to such fluctuations.

O co w ogóle chodzi?
We wrześniu/paźdźerniku 2023 roku wydałem na Hive 3300 złotych z czego kupiłem 500 Hive a reszta poszła w HBD. Zrobiłem power down i sprzedałem Hive w najgorszym możliwym momencie - day trading to nie jest moja smykałka.

In September/October 2023,I spent PLN 3,300 on Hive, of which I bought Hive 500 and the rest went to HBD. I power downed and sold Hive at the worst possible time - day trading is not my thing.

Podsumowanie

Znowu pomimo zbankowania ponad 12 USD dalszy spadek kursu sprawił, że wynik miesiąc do miesiąca jest na niewielkim minusie. Wynik w złotówkach to jakieś 16% wynik w dolarach dwukrotnie większy. Czy 16% to źle? Czy APR przed podatkiem na poziomie 8% w krypto (wysokie ryzyko). Jest on tak naprawdę niewiele lepszy niż obligacje skarbowe, ale skrajnie różny jeśli chodzi o ryzyko. Czy mimo wszystko dziś bym rekomendował? Więc wiecie - 'Not Financial Advice'.

Again, despite having banked over $12, the continued decline in the exchange rate has left the month-over-month result slightly negative. The result in Polish złoty is about 16%, compared to twice the dollar figure. Is 16% bad? Is the pre-tax APR of 8% in cryptocurrencies (high risk)?
