It's Not a Straight Up Line .:. WorkerBee PH-Pool Week 193
I'm getting reminded over and over again that nothing in life is a straight-up-only line... As soon as we saw that the Bitcoin price was recovering nicely and going up, we were hoping that the same would happen to HIVE... It's not like that, and it wasn't like that in the past either... I have to admit that I didn't expect to see BTC dominance this high as it is at the moment... It went to 59%, which just a few people expected would happen when SOL was chasing BNB, meme coins were going through the moon, and BTC dominance was around 40%! We thought that altcoins were finally strong enough to "make their case", but...

As usual, Bitcoin is teaching us a lesson about who is the Big Daddy and how we have to have patience to wait for "our time"... Before you start to freak out about why HIVE can't go over 20c and stay there, you should zoom out and check the rest of the altcoins on the market... You will realize that the same pattern is happening with most of them... It's BTC time and we have to wait our time... There are no shortcuts... The same as there are no shortcuts to earning money fast, the same goes for seeing better altcoin prices...
All that gives us additional time to pick up cheap tokens that we believe can do good in the future... Probably right now is the best moment to re-check your bags and see if your token will ever recover, or if it has no future... Is there development? Are people buying up the dips, or just leaving the price to sink even more? Is there a community around the token? Answers to these questions should help you to make a good decision, but the main thing is to be objective while you making it...
Back to the WorkerBee Pool numbers for this week...

What about the bonus tokens?
If we want to be objective, one of the tokens that didn't do well in the last few months is the token that I will give away as a bonus today... If you take a look at the chart, it looks like the LEO token doesn't know the other direction than to go down... The truth is that the token has a relatively low market cap and tokens like that are the easiest to "move"... They can easily drop in value, but on the other side, they can easily move UP in price fast! What is very encouraging regarding LEO is all the development and collaborations that are happening all this time... The community is united and LEO whales are patiently accumulating the tokens...
There will be distributed 75 LEO tokens to the delegators of the pool as a bonus reward today!
As always, in the end, let's give the exact numbers for this week... 112 BEE tokens and 75 LEO tokens will be distributed as a bonus... The APR (without the bonus) was 8.492%, and when we added the bonus it went up to 10.183%!
I have calculated the ROI approximately with medium prices for all tokens at the moment of creating this post... So, those numbers are valid if you bought WB and sold BEE tokens at the middle HiveEngine price...

You're right. It's just not our time yet and while we can be frustrated or bearish, it's probably just how the market works.. meanwhile BTC took a little dump yesterday and the alts dumped simultaneously too. I think we should begin to look at Q1 as when alts will finally begin to rally.
I have a feeling that despite all the negativity around the "altcoin season", the greed index is still too high... I'm afraid that we will have to have another big dump to scare people off...

Yes agree! Very very close. Dominance has done as expected, It would be concerning if we go above 60% for alts, if so we will for sure see which alt are strong and which are not.

Yeah... It is very similar to previous cycles... The thing is that nobody expected to see BTC dominance at almost 60%... and who knows, maybe we will see a blow-off top like the one that you showed... ;)
I think the entire market is sluggish. I don't think we will move much until after the elections, and I don't think the alt coins will move up much until BTC pushes up a lot.

It is sluggish, but again, it's not something that didn't happen in the past... Maybe it last a bit longer this time, but it happened before... Waiting for BTC push, to see alts push... 😃
It's definitely better to wait and observe how the market is moving, I think taking a zoom out perspective can be really beneficial during such moments. In many ways, I think altcoins(some of them) are still undervalued, compared to the developments they've made all through the bear cycle and thier previous ATHs.
Agree! We have to move more in the "wrong" direction to finally see some "altcoin season"... It looks like we need to see BTC even more overvalued and alts even more undervalued...
Normies may not be able to handle that, especially altcoins becoming more undervalued.
On the other hand, I think gradually, crypto will become more useful and we may not need to necessarily be bothered much with its volatile price movements, because there will be other ways of earning instead of just buying and selling tokens, I think.

HIVE had been gone between $0.30-$0.35 for a long time, and the same has been happing between $0.15-$0.20. Perhaps, we expected too much from it, this might the real value of it 🙄
It is probably the "current real value", as the whole altcoin market is down... We will see how long it will take... ;)
