Hello beautiful people! Welcome back to my space! What an amazing day to be alive!
As the year 2024 keeps racing towards the end, I can't help but look back at the months that have gone by. Would you believe that I just started participating in #lpud only a few months ago? Yet now it looks like this is one event I can't afford to miss.
Yes! I participated in LEO Power Up Day for the first time in April 2024. That's about seven months ago, right! It was a tiny, little baby step, but one that I began to build on to finally bring my LEO Power to more than 1000 LP.
Of course, that means I have finally attained the "kitten" status, and now is the time to start taking more strategic steps towards her cub status. I know that will definitely require more commitment and consistency, but if other people are able to attain that status and exceed it, what exactly would be my excuse for not aiming higher?
Anyways, today I have decided to do more by powering up about 160 LEO tokens. It really feels good seeing these figures go up, you know. And I am sincerely hoping to increase them as this year rolls off and a new one begins.
Perhaps you are wondering what I mean by all I wrote above. Let's make things clearer, shall we?
LPUD is a day that has been set aside specially for people to stake their LEO tokens in order to increase their LEO Power, and also stand the chance of winning amazing prizes for participating in the LEO Power Up Day challenge.
A lot of people have won prizes that include LEO Power delegations, and also Premium subscription. To qualify in the draw for prizes, you must have participated in the previous month's LPUD. Also, there is also a minimum amount of LEO to power up.
Cub attack = power up 50 LEO
Lion Attack = power up 150 LEO
But how do you even get liquid LEO to stake?
Good question! And the simple answer is that you can earn rewards in LEO when you use the inleo.io User Interface, create threads, engage with other people's threads, or you can swap your HIVE, HBD or even other layer 2 tokens for some liquid LEO.
There's so much to gain, but of course this post is not intended to offer any financial advice. I am just sharing my experience with you.
That being said, I am glad I took that first step seven months ago to start growing my LEO Power.
Many thanks for reading. This is my response to #novemberinleo prompt for Day 15.
