What if cash receipts were made mandatory for small transactions, and what if consumers started asking for such receipts? UPI is indeed a great innovation. However, to make it willingly acceptable among business communities, the government needs to revisit the tax regime. Nobody wants to pay tax willingly, but then again, it has to be just and reasonable.
