Growing my GLX stake as I approach end of Year goal

Decentralized Finance (DeFi) is one innovation in crypto that has made passive income sweeter than ever. Great to see this development thriving in the Hive blockchain.

I wrote a post outlining Four ways through which one can earn in the splinterlands ecosystem and passive earing through DeFi staking was listed twice - for SPS and for GLX token.

GLX staking was seen as the most lucrative source of passive earning, though the newest. GLX, governance token foe the sports gaming platform within the splinterlands ecosystem is one asset of splinterlands that should not be missed by any player.

Weeks ago, I started my GLX staking journey and gradually grown with the stake. At the last time when I staked GLX, it stood at 73 balance. That amount staked has earned me around 11.8 GLX as rewards in just two weeks.

Today, I decided to add more GLX to the stake and I was able to claim the rewards of the previous amount staked , bought more GLS in the tribaldex market and staked a total of 27.503 GLX token.

Today's GLX stake brings my total token staked to 100. I have successfully staked 100 out of my planned 250 GLX, 8 days to the end of the year. I would have to double up efforts to buy more GLX this weekend and next to be able to reach my planned 250 tokens.

With this, I can go to sleep while my investment works for me. This is true passive income that splinterlands has provided to its players. I will be adding more GLX to my stake until I start receiving 1 Hive worth of GLX daily as rewards. Let me see how much my 100 GLX stake would be generating daily.

The proceeds from staking GLX token would be used to buy Genesis League Goal packs. I hope I will be able to get up to 3 packs of Genesis League Goals NFTs before the game goes life.

It is beautiful to see that from writing about fun game and learning, I earned so much that I began to invest to earn even bigger. My Hive power is growing tremendously in the past few weeks and will continue to grow.

Splinterlands is not just a game. It is a ecosystem that is full of opportunities that helps the player get more acquainted with cryptocurrency. It is a great game for every one to be a part of - enjoyable, fun and rewarding.
