It has been known for some time that support for the Binance USD token will be discontinued. Now the support for deposits in the Hive Engine will soon be discontinued and therefore only withdrawals will be guaranteed. As described in an announcement by @cryptomancer, you should act as early as possible, as it may happen that the BUSD can be traded below 1 USD per token when support is discontinued. Accordingly, those who hold liquidity pools or SWAP.BUSD in their wallet should now take a closer look and take appropriate action.

As Paxos, the issuer of BUSD, has been ordered to stop minting new BUSD by February this year, many exchanges & services have been gradually phasing out support for it. We plan to permanently disable BUSD deposits on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 3 am UTC. At that time SWAP.BUSD will become withdrawal only. The trading market and associated Diesel Pools will remain available, however we advise everyone to withdraw or trade your SWAP.BUSD for another stablecoin at the earliest opportunity. Holding it beyond February is risky as there is no guarantee its peg will hold once Paxos discontinues support.
