#MyHiveGoals - Should We Track...Traffic?
I know I don't really keep track of this...But it might be a metric I start paying very close attention to:
This is my 'hit count' on Peakd.com on how many unique views I've had to my blog post from last week. And I'm sure it's much more if you add up things like LeoFinance and CTPtalk.
This is....100% because of ListNerds lol
I'd like to think it's because of my witty humor and savvy insight, but let's be honest lol I've been using ListNerds to drive traffic to my blog posts, and rewarding readers that engage with my content.
Is this a metric I should start tracking?
I'd love for a total number of page views, because right now it's only tracking from Peakd.com, but what a cool way to see how many members of the community are coming to our content!!!
This is never an exact science but....
The more traffic you bring to your little side of the internet, the better it is :)
So as much as my journey continues for crypto accumulation, I'm also starting to pay close attention to how many people are actually coming to my content!
150,000 Hive Power
This past week I was able to power up a little chunk of liquid Hive I can across, and it added to a pretty solid week of accumulation...
150,000 - 121,606.49 = 28,393.51 left to go
Chipping away, slowly....And with the Hive price starting to push upwards, it'll get harder to accumulate this beautiful little token.
We keep pushing!!
30,000 LEO, 1,000,000 SPT & 100,000 ONEUP
You know why I'm accumulating LEO?
Because Project Blank is coming!!! I don't know when. I don't know how. But when it does....
30,000 - 25,604.66 = 4,395.34 left to go
Now is the time to accumulate this token, because if it goes like I think it will. LEO is a bargain!!
This is either going to be my greatest 'bet' in crypto...Or it'll be...Still a really cool project LOL
1,000,000 - 628,339.92 = 371,660.08 left to go
SPT is just...Such an opportunity! So each week...I'm stacking!
I'm getting close to a very nice little milestone for ONEUP!
100,000 - 69,500.13 = 30,499.87 left to go
Almost 70,000 1UP tokens and I should hit that this week :)

I have not been able to drop my hive goals updates for weeks now, but I forgive myself for the emigration going on, otherwise, my Listnerds journey would suffer from it lol, I hate filling in the table for my goals post (ssst don't tell) so that's what makes it less appealing for me currently. Trying to keep it as simple as possible to not be overwhelmed again.
I sure love seeing these amount of views and would sure love to be able to track this further than just knowing its 100+
Oh i'm sure it is above 100. But just seeing it on one front end makes me smile. Such a powerful metric to keep an eye on!
You are making an incredible accumulation, you are always a source of inspiration. I also think that the day will come when Leo shoots up like a rocket and I keep accumulating for that moment.
I really think it's so under valued right now. A sneaky play for the long term!
IDK why but I totally forgot about project blank for a moment lol I just ramped up my delegation to LEO today to help push me towards that goal faster and now that you mentioned project blank I'm like heck yeahhhh good move hahaha

I love that stat they provide, would be so awesome if something like Hive Stats could track all traffic across the board.
I have long term plans with BRO token, HE Index and even CubLife. I hope to invest more as I accumulate swap.hive. I wonder what do you think about EDS and BYTE token?
Haven't really messed with either of those tokens, I have heard of EDS, but not BYTE?
Yeah, I think it would be super helpful to be able to see all the traffic to your blog posts from the different front ends all in one place. It is interesting to know who is seeing, reading and engaging with our posts. That is a good tip about Leo tokens. I am trying to accumulate them so that my vote is worth more on Leo. I haven't even thought about Project Blank recently.

I quit my part time job and cut back on my obligations this past summer in order to go all in on Hive/my writing and as terrifying as that decision was, I don't regret it at all.

I do think this is important but to be honest when you look at time spent on the post it is clear and obvious very few are reading it. I love getting comments that relate to the post and it is sad to know many read a paragraph and not the entire post.

Good looking numbers, Jon. You are certainly a testament to showing up every day. I get excited seeing my numbers after only 2 months. It is good to see that there is a real future here on Hive!
Just wait man...2 years from now, you'll look back and just be blown away at what can take place.
Tracking hits/page views is not a bad idea, but most of the time the quality of the visitors (i.e. do they read, vote and comment?) is as important the quantity, if not more important.
Also, I don't entirely trust view counts as some social media sites — assuming posts are shared to external social media — will "ping" your page count every time the link is exposed in someone's feed.
But still, an interesting metric.

Tracking hits to your blog posts are always a good idea
If the front ends could all do it, it would be a huge benefit.
I think tracking views will be hard to an extent. I guess you can at least track it somewhat using Listnerds right? However, with all the tribes, I just think trying to figure out all the numbers because most of them don't report it.

as far as i know it’s only peakd ?
I think the open rates and CTR on Listnerds can also give you an idea? Either way, I guess it might overlap with the PeakD numbers.
Either way, the accumulation of all those do add up over time.

We should try to track as much as we can, It indicates exactly what is working and what's not.

Views is an interesting metric to track. For example views versus upvotes shows how many real people viewed your post instead of just using an automated voting mechanism. But unfortunately this metric is not one that can be tracked unitarily on Hive due to the spread of traffic through various interfaces.
I'm always impressed by your motivation and dedication every time I read your Hive goals post! You are doing an incredible job!
I experimented with one myself a few weeks ago (I think I tagged you in it). I'm going to have to start doing it more often. It's such a great idea. Actually I do do that with my Splinterlands earnings on this alt account, but I need to do it more with other Hive stuff.
Anyway, I finally got around to looking at Listnerds. I did see your post when you announced it a few weeks back, but I haven't had time to look till now. I like it! What a great idea. I signed up and started reading emails to earn me some MAIL tokens. I've been on Hive (Steemit) for 5 years now, started several groups, and still barely have any following. Maybe Listnerds can help me finally gain some traction!
