#MyHiveGoals - Another Epic Week On The Blockchain
This crazy journey of mine has been a blast so far!
Like I mentioned last week, I hit my 4th anniversary on Hive and continue to show up every day and do my best to add value to the community.
I take that pretty seriously. I know it's easy to just say 'I try to add value' but for me it's become sort of my life's mission. Every day, moving towards my goals and sharing with others the steps I have take so far.
Lots of trials, lots of pitfalls...But hopefully people learn from those mistakes I've made and the successes I've shared.
If these posts do help your journey, I feel like that's the biggest reward one could ask for!

150,000 Hive Power
The steady stream of accumulation is going strong...
The only problem with the recent price boom in Hive is...Well...Less Hive from our daily engagement and creating.
150,000 - 116,852.62 = 33,147.38 left to go
Not to worry, I have no plans on slowly down :)
20,000 LEO, 500,000 SPT & 100,000 ONEUP
Look. At. That!
20,000 - 19,205.61 = 794.39 left to go
Wow! Less than 800 LEO left to go until we hit this goal. I'm pretty excited about that :)
Chaos Legion took over the blockchain last week and excitement is at an all time high. Of course, that just meant for me...More SPT!
500,000 - 420,099.28 = 79,990.72 left to go
Excited to see this goal slowly shrink! It'll be a challenge to hit 500k by the end of the year but hey...Stranger things have happened!
I don't think we will be hitting this goal in 2021...
100,000 - 54,250.33 = 45,749.67 left to go
Still stacking 1UP but will have to target this goal in 2022...

What I was thinking would happen last week, I'm sure took place this week!

Total rewards = 56.50 per day
Yup, less Hive than last week lol About 30 less in fact but again that's because as the price of Hive rises, each token is worth more.
So that means, less Hive being dished out.
Not too worried though because, if I'm up 1 Hive a day...I consider that a win!

Looks like you should be hitting that LEO goal by the end of the month. Crazy how hard it is to get to 100 hive a day now with the price increase right lol Because of that I'm starting to think of shifting my goals for next year into a monetary value instead of a crypto token value for goals to reach. For example I want to hit $100 daily profit on CUBDeFi which of course will change with the swing in CUB price. Really hoping we see some big things with CUB and LEO next year. We had that spike early in the year and it's just pretty much been dead all the rest of the year I have hopes though.
I'm pretty sure I lost all my CUB lol
I sent in a ticket to LEO to see if they could figure out what's going on, but I'm pretty sure 'user error' is my diagnosis lol

Hive punks made me a lot. I'm taking that and went 33 percent into sps, hbd, and bought 1 Land Plot in splinterlands as well as buying more chaos legion packs.

I do remeber CTP trading around $0.01 and started to recently paying more attention to it alongside LEO!

These are great goals, and reading your post inspires me to set my own... Despite the price fluctuations in Hive, as you say, if you're adding just one per day, it's a win! I'm content right now to simply add Hive Power and tuck away a few Hive into savings to ride out this dip.
When do you set your 2022 goals? And are there formulas or metrics that you use to set them?

No metrics, I literally look at my account and decide what I want to hit...I try to put it out of reach so I have to push myself.
It really works, I mean I dont always hit the targets, but some goals I do reach :)
The upvoting system here on hive is kind of a value indicator. The better upvotes and comments received the better the post quality must be.
Like you, I am always striving for my comments and posts to have as much value as I can possibly muster.
In Feb 2022 I will have been on Hive for 1 year, and you have more than 4 times that. Things here on the Hive-Blockchain happen exponentially :-)

I hear that things rarely go as planned. It is really easy to see how this blockchain is really attempting to be the place of the people for the people 😀

All of your post has been an inspiration to me. The more I see the more I want. I know I still have a long way to go but you & the CTP community keeps me inspired. Just seeing what is possible with time and devotion keeps me building habit to continue until I'm where you are.

I wanted to ask you what your thoughts are on the longevity of the Hive Engine blockchain. Do you think it's just getting started or will it only last for x amount of years?
I think there needs to be improvement on it, make it more decentralized, but the projects on it are fantastic and there are very passionate people running the tribes!
The rate at which you are going. Your curation and creation rewards are getting closely equal. Like it's not a big gap in between even now. I have checked the chaos legion cards in Peakmonster. They seem to be pretty much getting expensive now.
By the way, what's your opinion on LBI and CL?
I've been seeing a lot of the cards dipping in price, i'm guessing thats because there are plenty more options now to play with and buy.

Was in LBI since day one, havent really heard much news about it but for me it's a long term hold.
CL though, other than Chaos Legion?
I believe he means CubLife. It's more like CubFinance for people who don't want to learn it and you get LEO back each week.
