No, I don't know how it is being calculated. Hivebuzz knows how it works and will definitely notify one when they get to those levels.
VESTS is the blockchain internal representation of Hive Power. This number doesn't change if you do nothing with your account.
This is not the case with HP which will decrease due to inflation if you do nothing.
This is why there is a difference between the two.
